When you listen to the new album, will you listen to On The Backs Of Angels first?

Yes, considering I haven't heard OTBOA yet :)

Certainly I will. I always like to hear albums the whole way through each time I listen to them.

Besides, in my eagerness to hear what the new album might be like, I have listened to one or two snippets and OTBOA, but I have only listened to each once, and that was when it came out, so at the moment, I can't actually remember quite how it goes, so a new listen will be a glorious experience.

Of course. The song is badass.

This, as well as the fact I want to listen to the album as a whole.

I will definitely listen to the first track. I've been careful not to overplay it as not to ruin it for me, but I've still listened to it maybe 15-20 times since its release. (Needless to say, I'm a big fan.)

Totaly THIS.

Of course, that album requiers and deserve to listen to it from start to finish, besides I wasn't listening OTBOA for a long time to be honest.

I will, I have only heard it on my crap sounding lap top so I can't wait to hear it in all its glory blasting through my nice system.

elizaalltiedup

Yes. I always listen to albums in their entirety.

Exactly, and the sound quality will be much better than the youtube version (at least for me).

Dublagent66

I've already listened to it first.  Duh!

It's going to be tempting to skip straight to Beneath The Surface, because that's the most excited I've been by any of the 1 minute clips (I've avoided them since) but yeah, I'll drive home, stick it in a good sound system, barricade myself into the room and give it the start to finish treatment. Got next Monday all figured out!
Last time, I still gave Rite of Passage and Wither a spin - not my favourite album tracks, but it just wasn't complete without them.

At first, yes...so I can listen to the album as DT wanted it to be presented.

Afterwards, I doubt it.  Not a big fan of the song(I really don't like or dislike it), and I'll probably skip it after that initial album listen.

Hearing it in wonderful CD quality will be nice, though   :D

I will point out that the official download of the single I got from Itunes is the way to listen to the song, meaning 320 bit rate and no compression from youtube. There is a difference in the overall sound and mix, so I would say listen to the whole damn album!!!

Since it's coming out on a Tuesday I'm not going to have a chance to really listen to it until late in the night... but heck yeah I'm going to listen to the whole thing all the way through.

I can't skip through DT albums, I gotta take the whole thing at once. Front to back. Feels good. :caffeine:
