Out of the entire DT catalog what is your favorite 2 songs in a row?  (Individual songs in 6DOIT included).

Mine is Glass Prison / Blind Faith.

Oh boy, mine too man. Blind Faith gives you some time to come down from that high of Glass Prison (the song that actually got me into DT).

Another of mine is Metroplis Pt1 / Under a Glass Moon

Fatal Tragedy > Beyond This Life

easy... Glass Prison/Blind Faith

RuRoRul

The Glass Prison and Blind Faith is probably mine as I said before, but just to say that the Stream Of Consciousness - In The Name Of God one that a lot of people are posting is a strong contender too - if only because In The Name Of God is one of my absolute favourites and Stream Of Consciousness is pretty awesome too. In fact, This Dying Soul - Endless Sacrifice from that album would be another favourite of mine, though perhaps not quite so much as the other two.

Heretic

Take the Time > Surrounded - I love how such a fast, upbeat, fun song, ends and segues into a song that starts off so serene and calming. Two of my favorite DT songs placed next to one another, and they accent each other so well!

Wait for Sleep > Learning to Live - An obvious one; a beautiful piano track going into a powerful, thoughtful song. Always loved this transition, and I have a feeling I'll love Far From Heaven going into Breaking All Illusions as well.

Stream of Consciousness > In the Name of God - An insane instrumental that's so quirky and crazy going into such a dramatic track full of intensity and of the best choruses ever? Yes.

6:00 > Caught in A Web - Two energetic, awesome tracks right after another. Great job on DT's part.

Misunderstood > The Great Debate I love Misunderstood's build up, and it's an amazing song. It ends and then suddenly that atmosphere that TGD has begins to ensue. Awesome songs, awesomely placed together.

The Glass Prison > Blind Faith

Metal as fuck to prog as fuck, can't go wrong.

m0hawk

1. Sacrificed Sons -> Octavarium
2. The Ministry of Lost Souls -> In the Presence of Enemies Pt 2
3. The Spirit Carries On -> Finally Free
4. The Best of Times -> The Count of Tuscany
5. Metropolis -> Under a Glass Moon (probably has the best back-to-back flow of any DT album)

JayOctavarium

WFT -> Learning To Live

Erotomania -> Voices

The Mirror -> Lie

Burning My Soul -> Hells Kitchen -> Lines in the Saaaaaaaannnnnd

vacant -> Stream of C -> In The Name of God

GasparXR

The Silent Man/The Mirror

It blends so well to me.

If there had to be a worst pair, it would be Repentance/Prophets of War. Oh god. Good songs, but they sound horrible in that order.
