I just found something rather interesting on wikipedia. Have you guys ever heard of this?

"Between 5:51 and 6:07 of the song "In the Name of God", there was a hidden composition buried beneath the far louder sounds of the song itself which lay undiscovered for over a year and a half. The band did not tell anyone that a hidden "nugget" (as it became known amongst Dream Theater fans) was present in the song, and only when Mike Portnoy mentioned it in his Mike Portnoy: Live at Budokan Drum-Cam DVD over a year later did someone find it. The Mike Portnoy message board was rife with fans scouring the song looking for what it might be, until a fan going by the pseudonymous name "DarrylRevok" mentioned that from 5:51 to 6:07 there appeared to be morse code audible, which Nick Bogovich (user handle "Bogie") isolated and discovered that when translated to English, the phrase "eat my ass and balls" (a Mike Portnoy catchphrase) was the result."

Yup - was there when it happened (and I know Bogie, who ended up getting MP's underwear from the breakdown in Berlin video).
Quote from: BlobVanDam on November 13, 2015, 07:37:14 PMAs a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

I remember reading through the thread at the time, probably just after it was discovered. I can't be bothered finding the thread, but I believe it was actually something like "EATMYSNBLS" or something like that?

Hmm... I've just been on a bit of a crazed search for nuggets. Just finished reading this: https://dt.spatang.com/octavarium.php

This is really cool. I knew about most of them, but things like that parts of the songs is played during the Intervals, and some of the 5/8-references. It's pretty astonishing how much thought they actually put into this album.

Yeah.  I remember when that all happened.  IIRC, the mix of the album was pretty much done, and then MP and JR went back and added that in their.  None of the other members of the band even knew about it.
