I pre-ordered the deluxe edition. The 4-6 weeks wait for that is probably making me buy the regular cd version on the release day. I know, I know.... I'll be able to get the digital download, but still.

CD/DVD, and from the shop. I bought the super mega edition of BC+SL and it's just sat on my shelf once i ripped the CDs and Stems to my computer, and I don't have a record player

CD/DVD, the price is pretty much almost the same as the normal version.

Especially after an email I got from The Omega Order. The deluxe editions are all going to be sent out late (most likely) So if you want the physical format on release day, you'd better pre-order a regular CD as well. Sounds like Roadrunner is being a dick, as the guy I talked to from the Omega Order said he spent the whole day on the phone yelling.

I'm really surprised they aren't offering a 3 disc special edition. CD/instrumental CD/DVD. That's what I would buy hands down. If they offer that (they still might), that's what I'm going with.

That is the one I'd want as well... I would think about buying the deluxe edition if the courier charges to Australia wasn't 50 GBP... Screw that.

Does anybody know for certain what the "Ticket For Life" is all about?  Even though I have a 1/5000 chance of winning it, if it is something cool I might risk it.  Otherwise CD/DVD for me.

I'll consider myself lucky to get even the regular simple CD here. So that's what I'll have to make do with  :-[

Pre-ordered the CD/DVD version. Damn, if it just could be September allready....

Awesomebox. It's gonna arrive late, but I guess I'll manage with just the digital copy until it arrives.

Has it been confirmed as 5,000? Black Clouds was 14,000. But as they're still available I guess it makes sense that they would scale it down a bit.

I went with the box set, can't see me doing it with any band other than DT though. Although no stems was almost a deal breaker for me

CD/DVD. The DVD is worth paying 1€ more, I suppose.

This.
But I'm thinking, if I have a steady job by the time it comes out, I might just go for the Deluxe Edition, just for the hell of it.

Seriously, why is there no love for vinyl in this poll/thread?

I also ask myself everyday why Falling Into Infinity, Scenes From A Memory, Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, Train of Thought, and Octavarium don't exist on vinyl period!

^^^ THIS to the umpteenth degree. I'll be driving to a record store and purchasing this on vinyl the day it comes out. I really wish they'd release all of the classic DT albums on vinyl for serious audiophiles and record collectors alike. Maybe I'll start a petition....

As for which version I'll be syncing up to my iPod you ask? I'll be downloading a FLAC torrent. Since I'll already be purchasing a copy of the album on vinyl (and buying concert tickets tomorrow at that), I don't feel bad about this at all.
