The upcoming legs of the tour will most likely have (a) different setlist(s) than the summer tour in Europe since the album will be out. Which DT songs do you want to hear live this tour?

-OTBOA, other songs from ADTOE, although that's pretty much inevitable
-Afterlife
-Take the Time
-Metropolis Pt. 1
-Learning to Live
-The Mirror/Lie
-Peruvian Skies
-Hell's Kitchen
-The Dance of Eternity
-The Spirit Carries On
-The Count of Tuscany
-Vacant
-Octavarium
-Repentance

Definitely Octavarium

After that, I'm up for just about anything.

SDOIT
The Glass Prison
Fatal Tragedy
Finally Free

I'm sure we'll get a healthy dose of I&W/Awake, and SC/BC&SL songs

Liberation

There's quite a few, but top of the list is In The Name of God. If I hear it live, I can die happy because I can only imagine how incredibly amazing it has to be live.

Phoenix87x

Take the Time
Hells Kitchen
Lines in the Sand
Another Day
The Dance of Eternity
Lifting Shadows Off a Dream
Stream of Consciousness
Scarred
Learning to Live

Actually, other than adding in more new songs, I don't think it will be drastically different from the summer tour sets.  And looking at the sets they did in Europe, I would be pretty happy to get basically those with a couple of new tracks thrown in.  If it were totally up to me, I'd sub in different songs from SFAM and TOT, but otherwise, I'm great with what they're already playing.

As long as they keep The Great Debate and These Walls in the setlists, I'll be a happy camper.

Agree, I haven't seen these songs live yet.

This. I'd die for The Great Debate on the NA tour. Also, I have seen Dream Theater 5 times, yet mysteriously have never seen Metropolis or Pull Me Under. So due to the irony, I'd love to see those. Also, Fatal Tragedy doesn't hurt any setlist. And finally, Blind Faith is an all-time favourite DT tune. I would love to see that one some day, though I don't think this tour is that time for some reason.

Apparently I'm really demanding. Though I've never seen a Dream Theater set/show that was anything short of fucking awesome.  :hat

I would genuinely really love that. I keep forgetting that song exists, but it's really cool. I used to listen to it practically on repeat about seven years ago, and I must've lost my bootleg since in a crash. Could be pretty neat, just played as a little interlude or something.

DTFan0789

Hell's Kitchen (which then segues into) Lines in the Sand
Lifting Shadows of a Dream
Learning to Live
A Fortune In Lies

rush-signals

Anything by DT is fine with me. As long as they keep playing!

Scooterfruit

I'll be seeing them in Vancouver, and I'm going to attempt to not look at the setlist before hand.

We got an AMAZING setlist the first time they came, (Didn't catch them with Maiden) so here's some tunes I'd love to hear.

Any of the tunes from the new album obviously..
The Count of Tuscany
Scarred
Under A Glass Moon
Lifting Shadows off a Dream
Surrounded
Another Day
Learning to Live
The Spirit Carries On
Anything from side 2 of SDOIT
Only a Matter of time
the Killing Hand
Octavarium
A Change of Seasons---Basically I'd love to see an epic. That would make my life. Any of the 20mins+ tunes. One can hope right?

Any of these songs would be awesome but seriously, anything is fine by me except for Just Let me Breathe.

krands85

I'll be absolutely gutted if I don't get to see Metropolis or Learning to Live, especially since both have been played on this summer tour.

They're my 2 favourite songs, so I really want to see at least one of them live at some point, but I've got a horrible feeling they might have been dropped from the sets by the time they get to Europe again.  :'(

Aside from them, I'd also really like to see Under a Glass Moon and Endless Sacrifice from the sets they've been playing recently. I love TCOT, but I saw that at Prog Nation 2009, so I wouldn't mind seeing that dropped since it's so long and would make way for a few shorter songs maybe.

Other personal favourites I'd love to see would be:
Octavarium
In the Name of God
ITPOE
ACOS
The Glass Prison
Sacrificed Sons
TMOLS

I imagine quite a lot of the set will be taken up with the new material, so I won't be holding my breath for anything close to my perfect setlist :D But I won't mind what I get as long as Metropolis or LTL make an appearance
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

Ive only ever been to one concert, but if i had to pick a few:

Take my pain away
TMOLS
Octavarium
The Glass Prison (maybe with a smooth transition into This Dying Soul)  :metal

bosk1

I would LOVE it if they did Take Away My Pain '96.  I don't think it's out of the question to hope for that one, actually.

Jamariquay

On The Backs Of Angels
Build Me Up, Break Me Down
Under A Glass Moon
These Walls
Hell's Kitchen
Lines In The Sand
Bridges In The Sky
The Great Debate
The Spirit Carries On
Breaking All Illusions
====
Octavarium

I'd love to see a setlist like that in the states.

GasparXR

Haha, I love how people are picking songs they've never heard yet for the setlist.

Definitely Learning To Live. Honestly, I was a bit bummed that it wasn't the encore in Vienna (but nonetheless, I really enjoyed seeing Metropolis Pt. 1 live), so I hope that they'll bust it out again for the next European leg. 6:00, The Mirror/Lie and Trial Of Tears would be really great as well.

Maybe New Millennium and Trial of Tears?

Based on recent interviews, I doubt you'll be hearing New Millennium anytime soon. Trial would be awesome though.

I just pulled out Acoustic Dreams yesterday for the first time in years.  Great stuff, especially the Tears cover.
