Actually, I don't think that it's underrated. There are a lot of people here who really like TTT, and it also gets a lot of praise around here.

Yeah I know but it's doesn't get the praise that Metropolis does and it's a superior song. And there's more DT fans out there than on this board and none of my DT fan friends really like it all that much.

I do love Take The Time, but I do prefer Lines In The Sand. The guitar solo, the bass fill before the first verse (and the rest of the bass too), the jazzy piano. I just love that song, so LITS it is.

Fifth best song on I&W vs. 5th best song on FII.. STill, I think I have to vote for Take the Time, though both are great. I think they would rank around the same spot in my top 50, with TtT just slightly (one or two places possibly) higher.

I don't find them very similar at all, but I do think they are both great. Honestly they're both maybe my joint favourite song on their respective albums. Take The Time though.

Lines is my #6 DT song and TTT is #8. Both right up there for me, but Lines gets the slightest of edges.

Wow. This is the first one of the these threads where it's actually a really tough choice.

I'm going with Take the Time; it wins just by a hair. They are both amazing songs.

LiTS for sure.

TTT is easily my least favorite on Images and words by a long, long ways. Not sure why but I think it's the chorus. Don't hate me!

but TTT is an awesome, fun song. the 'pensive fear' section is still my favorite vocals moment

TTT is consistently great, much like most of I&W. LITS has a really kickass JP solo but depending on one's mood it may drag a bit, especially towards the end.

Lines in the Sand has better parts, but it also has worse parts, where Take the Time is consistently strong.  I can name things I hate about LITS but not for TTT.  So my vote goes to TTT.

I came into the thread thinking TTT.
After thinking about it they are closer than I thought.
