I guess anything can make a great movie if the people who make it know their stuff. there are lots of elements: story, structure, acting etc. On another note, playing Fahrenheit (aka Indigo prophecy) reminded me of SFAM a lot really

depends on the writer/director. they wouldnt read the lyrics and go scene by scene. they would spice it up
That would just be a recurring nightmare if a director had to that

I agree. I mean how would they prepare for what would happen next?

And what if the director is a father. No son should ever have to see his father such a mess

Unless the father was that of a church, in which case they might have some sort a miracle and a blessing.
And that would be pleasant unless a loud lion escapes his cage while they're visiting their local zoo..

Well, let's just hope that by the grace of God above, everyone survives

Damn it, it was almost perfect if someone picked up on the "loud lion" part :lol

I suppose it would make a decent movie but personally I don't think it's a good idea.  The bar has already been set pretty high by Pink Floyd's The Wall.  That's probably what it would be compared to and let's face it, nothing could measure up to The Wall.

This whole thread is now moot...Blob posted again :gadough:

I couldn't remember the dancing guy one.  I lost my DTF cheat sheet, and it would be on my home computer anyway.

In b4 "it's BASED on a movie you n00b!!!!"  :rollin

And that kind of response is helpful/productive...how?  Knock off the abrasive attitude.  You haven't been here long enough to have earned any slack.

Ok, so I clearly need to step up my sarcasm game if that came across abrasive.

For those not in the know: see "Dead Again" on IMDB.  It is the droid you are looking for.

I think it's pretty obvious you were being sarcastic.

As long as Ken Brannagh is in it...

It would be hard to do. How can TDOE be portrayed?
Sex scene. Something really hot and wild, please.  :corn

On a serious note, I truly hope SFAM will be made into a movie someday. It may have potential.

I think it would make for a better Rock Opera. SFAM the west end stage show. JLB can be in it and fulfill one of his ambitions of being a west end performer.

The sex scenes must be done in the same way as the time signatures. Think of the crazy triplets...
