Yeah I hope they do, but before the albums came out pretty much during the tour.  This time it's not coming out until September.

Yes, but it was a bit closer to release date in those cases.

I have a faint memory about downloading some bootleg video in 2002, where they played one new song before SDOIT was released. The song most likely Blind Faith, but I am not sure.

They've been playing songs live before albums are released since the beginning.  That isn't really the question.  The question is whether the single will be released before the festival shows kick off.
