Yes, only the drums. I just find that part so awesome 8) I used to have the intro to "6:00" before.

I think that drum tracks actually make great ringtones since they carry a lot of treble, which is good since cellhpone speakers doesn't render bass very well.

My phone is ALWAYS on silent/vibrate, but my brother's ringtone is set to the guitar solo from Scarred.  So I'll occasionally hear it if my phone gets taken off silent accidentally.

My phone uses the ragtime keyboard bit from Dance of Eternity as an alarm to wake up in the morning. My ringtone is a small segment of Octavarium, from 17:55 or so til about 18:01.

I've used the Learning to Live intro and the Take the Time keyboard solo before, but it's currently set to Under a Glass Moon's guitar solo 

No need to worry about me getting sick of them from hearing them too much, I don't get that many calls

I use the opening to "Set the World On Fire" by Annihilator as my alarm ringtone to wake me up every morning. It is not DT but it is Mangini so DT enough. Check it out- you will hear it is very syncopated! It just loops over a few times until I hit the snooze button for the 15th time.

I am currently using the intro of JLB's One Last Time.  I have previously used Paradigm Shift, Acid Rain, and stuff from Suspended Animation. It seems that for whatever reason I prefer instrumentals, or at least instrumental sections for my ringtones.

I don't know how to make a song into a ring tone.

Use the force.

Its easy with audacity...just upload a song then choose what part you want. Cut the selection, time stamp it to 0:00, save and upload to phone.
