Am I right in saying that the gig in Rome on 4/7/11 will be Mike Mangini's first gig? Anyone attending? I know I am  :metal

There is some chance I might attend the show. Are you Italian, weeping-icon?

weeping-icon

I'm actually from Malta (close) but live in Prague, CZ. I'm visiting my Maltese, DT loving friend who lives in Rome and we're going to the gig together. I'm also a bit of an 'Anathema' fan so even better  ;D

It tomorrow!!! First Dream Theater show with Manigini on board, I'm very curious about setlist!!! I will not be there, because I will be in my country waiting for my turn (28th July  :metal :metal :metal :metal), but I'll be with there with my spirit!!!

wasteland

The excitement is growing! Too bad that I will not be there...

But don't worry, I'll translate the first reviews of the show and then post them here!

hopefully some will appear! as the person above me said - the opening, the opening! couldn't care too much about videos of the songs but just want to see the opening .... and then hear about the setlist :) ;D

Zydar

Here's a long shot for an opener: Caught In A Web. I don't know if they've ever opened with that, but I'm just throwing it out there :P

Blackfield

2 hours and 20 minutes until the show starts. There are two bands opening though if I got the facts straigh, Gamma Ray and Anathema.

How long till the show starts?

DT should start their show at 21.45, which means about five hours from now

Well, I am quite sure that Caught will be played, but as the opener? I don't really know, it doesn't seem fit to me...

The Silent Cody

Yeah, Caught In A Web would be a nice surprise, but I think it will be Pull Mu Under anyway ;) 17:00 !! 2 hours to go with Anathema, 4:45 and Dream Theater cames in!!! :metal :metal :metal :metal

Same here. I dunno why, but I also have a feeling this is the song that will open the show.

cyberdrummer

I think it might be a bit much to open with a new song when the album hasn't even been released. But we shall see...

tri.ad

As I said before: Pull Me Under would be nice and fitting, but 6:00 would be absolutely killer. Let's see how it turns out.

Leaving for the show shortly, will be updating the setlist on FB while it happens, hopefully.

Some bad news: the wheather is quite unstable in Rome. Take notice that in central/southern Italy it rains roughly once in a summer. We can only prey and touch iron

Fear not, I'll be relaying NBN's Facebook updates to the main setlists thread.
