Which album(s) remind you of the warm weather, if any at all? -OR- which albums do you like to listen to in the Spring or Summer?

Weird yet nice question! The ones that remind me the good seasons are coincidentally those I like the least, Octavarium and Systematic Chaos. If I actually had to associate each album with a month I would say something like this:

WDADU -> October
IAW -> April
AW -> November
FII -> May
SFAM -> October
SDOIT -> December
TOT -> January
8V -> June
SC -> July
BCSL -> September (when it is still hot but you perceive that summer is fading)

I don't know, just some random connection happening within my mind  :lol (and the twice-occurring October is actually intentional)

SystematicThought

None of them really. Except BC&SL because that's when I listened to it. Awake does a little bit too. Especially LSOaD. Driving home at night after work to that keyboard. Good memories

John94

FII reminds me of a tropical summer storm with floods and the whole shabang. 8V is springy/summery to me also.

LKap13

Awake has always been a springtime album for me, though I must say, the actual music of Awake is more on the Fall/Winter axis.

Occasional_Madman

I&W is a springtime album, for sure. Definately around this time of year. FII and Awake feel more like summertime to me. FII especially, because Trial of Tears reminds me of water so much, for whatever reason. lol.

The Queen Medley they did for Black Clouds. The only real reason being it was released for free before the album came out, right around spring and summer time while school was coming to a close. I remember listening to it a lot on sunny days before school and afterward as well.

As for an album, I guess Black Clouds in general, I suppose.

This exactly.

IAW is the most summer album DT ever made. But I don't associate any of their albums with any season.. except for ACOS.

Images And Words... because of Surrounded, basically.

that's wierd. i thought about it, and ACOS is the most summery to me, due to the cover art.

edit - i dont know why, even though it's snow, that little bucket thing reminds me of summer.

Something about an album's production does it for me.

IaW
FII
8VM
BC&SL
\o\ lol /o/

Well I much prefer a cloudy, colder day to summer (dunno why) so I guess making it feel like summer would be a negative feeling.
I guess 6DOIT makes me feel like it a bit (the song)

MasterLomaxus

Falling Into Infinity
Six Degrees (second disc)
Black Clouds

There are some songs off of other albums that remind me specifically of Summer time.  However, the three mentioned albums are the only full albums  that remind me of this time of year.

Dcrupi

Systematic Chaos.

Obviously was released in the summertime, but it was the first DT album for which I was able to anxiously await release (I became a fan after 8vm), and therefore listened to it incessantly all summer long.  Good memories there, as much as I dislike the album itself.

Images & Words is definitly a summer album ;) Like A Change Of Seasons because of sounding ;)

March: SDOIT
May: SFAM
June: IAW
July: OVM
August: SC/BCSL
September: WDADU/FII
October: Awake
November: TOT
December: ACOS

?

For me the summer albums are I&W, FII and Octavarium.

Sixtease

This is the first in a row of years where Spring didn't urge me to listen to Images and Words compulsively. Normally, I have Spring strongly associated with it.

For Summer, it's Scenes from a Memory. For Autumn, it's Systematic Chaos. For Winter, it's A Change of Seasons.

It's octavarium for me. I love walking in the sun listening to I Walk Beside You.

JasonScandopolous

I&W.  has the most cheery disposition of any album.

lordxizor

I'd say FII, Images & Words, and Octavarium are my summer albums. More upbeat than most of the others.

That's because I made this thread and it got locked.

Images and Words, and Black Clouds. Systematic Chaos to a degree.

The Hairy Man

Not so much a whole album, Solitary Shell - you could skip through flowery meadows on a bright summer's day to that tune. If you wanted.

Octawakeimages

Images and Words is definitely the most spring time album for me mainly because that's the first album I got from them and it was in April and it just has a very spring feel to it. :)

Uhm, for some reason, I&W reminds me of (and I'm NOT lying), what it looks like after heavy rain in the evening during summer, when I walk out my front door. The sunshine is shining towards me in warm, golden rays, although the air has a nip to it. Everything is damp and the sun is going down, with only small rumbles in the distance. Those scenes also come to mind when I think "Pirates of the Carribbean Online".
I have no clue why!

Other than that, albums themselves don't represent seasons/months for me.
Just songs, I guess...
