If Daniel Gildenlöw took over as a vocalist in DT, then I wouldn't follow DT anymore.
Honestly, if LaBrie decided to quit, I'd say that should be the end of the band.
Replacing a drummer is one thing, but the singer is more noticeable and more hit or miss.

The best option would be to go for an unknown vocalist, in my opinion.  Vocalists create an identity and style over their career since they are the frontman, so I think it would be hard to shoehorn a known vocalist into an established band like DT at this point.  The best option is to take an unknown vocalist that can sing his ass off.

I love the idea of Hansi Kursch. I'm not sure how well he fits the feel of the band, but he's a fantastic vocalist. Incredibly passionate.
