You know, the whole In the Name of God / The Root of All Evil mix. Does anybody else find that opening absolutely chilling in every way?

I thought it was cool when I was there. I forget what the hell was that loud buzzing though during the intro tape.

Implode

I love this. I thought it was an amazing way to start the concert.

I definitely like it, and it also provides a bit of continuity with their previous live album ending with "In The Name Of God".

Agreed, it's an incredible way to start the concert, and obviously got the crowd pretty excited.

I was just watching Score again last night funnily enough. Love the intro. Definitely chilling in a certain way.

It was awesome... when I saw the 2nd show I actually was looking forward to seeing it a 2nd time!

Combined with the A Clockwork Orange intro tape, it was an incredible opening to the show.

As the original intro to troae sounds very very similar to the intro to Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine, DT added the buzzer to the live version as an even bigger hint to the origins of this section and as a nod to this influence.

I see, strangely I don't remember hearing it when I was there, I only noticed it when I watched the DVD.

Cool Chris

Great segue and way to open the concert. The ItnoG outro, the Welcome to the Machine-esque sounds, and the intro to TRoaE up until when the lights hit and the main riff kicks in. The band looks looked totally amped and ready to go (well, with the exception of JM :p). It is shot really well too.

Come to think of it, the Budokan DVD has a great opening as well.
Maybe the grass is greener on the other side because you're not over there fucking it up.

I never noticed the Welcome to The Machine reference. Guess its been a while since I listened to that song.
