The Great Debate, as mentioned
Prophets of War
Sacrificed Sons
In the Name of God

I wouldn't really go to Dream Theater for those kinds of lyrics but "The Great Debate" actually isn't bad in the way it structures its argument (both sides represented by left and right channel vocals).

Vivace

A better band to check out social conflict lyrics is Machines of Loving Grace or Linkin Park. Chock full of  :chill lyrics.

I would say that The Great Debate could be a great case of study because it's not a classic "lets revel against the man/machine" type of lyrics. You will find your classmates divided with the two points it brings.

and it portraits the fight between "science" and "human rights" in some way.

Some examples of this fights:
-  in WWII.. some scientist experimented with people in concentration camps to test chemical weapons. human rights won the fight placing rules about war and war prisoners.
- in the first half of the XX century scientist experimented with people in mental institution to find cure for several diseases. (they exposed the patient to several viruses and diseases and then try some medicine to see if it cure them). Now Human rights fights against it.
- The new fight is with stem cells research. Human Rights organization are not sure if it does is against human rights or not.
