.......well, your voice is pretty good. Sounded like you were just hitting the notes though, no real attitude or inflection in your singing.

Also that video.......................uh......well it was a video.

I don't agree with Adami.  I thought the performance was solid.  The video was a cool addition.  It actually had a tone and mood as opposed to just throwing together pictures in Windows Movie Maker.

Dude, Nicky, that's fantastic. I'm so glad to see you took our advice. Your voice is amazing now, and your style is a lot better.

Oops, thought you were Nicky. Well this is still awesome. Props.

chego_voice

thanks for your comments guys! i'll take everyone of your advices!

BTW...Who is Nicky?

Perpetual Change

 :eek

I'm sorry. I take back my praise. I can't respect any DT covers from someone who doesn't recognize the 'king' of DT covers Nicky Spanjaards.

OMG! my mistake!  ???

the thing is: now that i know, who is Nicky Spanjaards, i don't know if i can take your last post as a compliment  :yeahright

To be completely honest, it would be best for you to completely forget the name Nicky Spanjaards. Or else terrible things may happen.

I actually was in a prog rock band here in Venezuela called Athlos (here you can hear: www.myspace.com/athlos ) , but we split it out!, now i'm working with a hard rock band right now, and we are working in our first album.

Anyway, your cover video was good! A solid performance indeed. The video only helped. Weren't you guy that was involved with the "Lifting Shadows Off A Dream" cover? That was phenomenal.

Adami

The split screen covers? I don't think that the was them.

about the picture... HAHAHAHAHAHA I KNOW! that was a internal/external joke but WTH!  :lol

about the split screen cover: yes, it was me on the lifting shadows of a dream cover!

I think your promo pic is better than DTs. Then again I've always thought that pic was kinda weird  :lol

I unfortunately have to agree. Your voice has a nice tamber and you sound good and hit the notes great, but the performance, at least this one lacks energy and emotion.

I thought the cover was quite good. The video was a bit much for my taste. I dunno, to me it's weird to have an elaborate video for a cover song. I know you're not intending to do so, but to me it looks you're trying to sell the music as yours.

well i understand,  i made the video cover in that way cuz, it was an university test for my friends, they needed to film a video, and i needed a video so, why not? we shoot the whole thing in 2 days, they create his own version, and i create my own for youtube!. i'm not triying to sell nothing, is just a tribute to Dream Theater my favorite band! i was in the right place, in the right moment, that's all! that would be stupid!

note: Because of this video i'm allready working with other guys of the university on the new one, (they need the same)
