Thats my thought. I'll admit, the first site of LaBrie with short hair in that picture was HILARIOUS. But after a little bit I thought "That actually ain't bad."

But I agree about the gray...seriously, James has always beeng good about dying his hair. Why now??

But I prefer his hair long.
I don't know. Combed back = Older, like that = younger (ish) and long, if styled right, can make him look younger.

Excatly, I can't imagine a short-hair JMX.
If he resisted cutting it in 1998 (when everyone else did) I can't see why he would cut it now. With hair like his, it's not like knot-city or anything. I have hair very very similar to James and it's hell and misery at times (Just spent a half an hour in the shower ripping mats from my hair, and I still have more to go) so with JMX having straight hair, I can't imagine it's that bad. Plus, he's not thinning or anything, he still has great hair, so he can make it to at LEAST 50
