I was driving my 10 year old to basketball yesterday and listened to TOT with my son and a couple of teammates and as we were listening to it the 10 year olds asked who it was and really liked it. I was amazed as they sat there for over a hour drive, one way and just listened to the music.TOT was my first dt cd and really got me hooked . My fav for over all hardness and just hooked another generation on there music...  :metal

blown away by the length

That's what she...was. :lol fail

Its always good when you can get young cats away from the same old radio stuff and expand their taste a little.

Daso

It's easy for them to like it with so much rap singing in the album.

It's cool, though, to have young children listening to DT since their early days. It might change their musical ways from start.

You have no idea what you've done. Sure, for the next 2-3 years they'll love DT. But soon DT won't be prog enough for them, they'll get more and more isolated in their listening tastes. By the time they're 20, no music on earth will be good enough.

They'll start reading books. Is that what you want to do? Create a generation of book readers?

Did you replay the solo in As I Am at least the mandatory 8 times for its sheer epicness?

Alright. You'd be amazed how many kids will like DSOTM. They may like The Wall movie too, well the animated parts anyways.

sorry hef, just dont like the cool story bro crap,im very sensitive :(
Work on that.

Work on what? The "cool story" thing gets really annoying after a while
I don't like it either.  But there's no reason to be so sensitive.  That's all I'm sayin'.
