The guitar unisons in early Queensryche :metal

but as this is the DT thread I'll agree with the OP's Metropolis. I've just been listening to WDADU and the keyboard/guitar unison in Afterlife is one of the reasons DT became my favourite band.

I love DT's unisons!

My favourites from the top of my head are probably Afterlife, a couple in Take the Time, Blind Faith and The Ministry of Lost Souls, but I've probably forgotten a bunch.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the one in Never Enough is also pretty awesome!

Toss up between the one in Metropolis, Never Enough, and Octavarium (right before Intervals).

All 4 of those have something awesome about them that I can't choose right now.

Metropolis: It was the first time I had heard anything like that. It still sounds awesome, kinda video-gamey and major sounding.

Never Enough: The build on this is crazy and is the highlight of the song, and one of the highlights of the album for me.

8VM: I like how all the instruments, maybe save for the drums, are doing the unison, and it concludes the instrumental perfectly.

Blind Faith is the best for me.

Metropolis one is also very nice. Specially to see live.
