An interview done a while ago, but just recently posted.  No editor's note to remind everyone the SI tour has since been cancelled  :-[.

Cool interview. Obviously it's pretty old ("I can tell you this much: in a couple of weeks we're gonna start auditioning."), but lots of good insight regarding Static Impulse.

I wish his clarification would have come out before Mike freaked out. ::)

That was a pretty interesting interview. I liked the parts about the writing process within DT.

Rafael Guerra

I like the part where he says we might get a tour even before the album comes out so we can have a sneak peak. Great idea.

QuoteI think it's unfortunate. You know, I just did an interview the other day and obviously my words were taken outta context. One of the questions was, "Are you sad?" and I said, "I'm not sad." And, you know, in retrospect, yeah. Should I have answered it so brashly? Maybe not, but basically, what I was trying to say is, "You know, I think it's unfortunate that he left and that this is where he is. But at the same time, we as Dream Theater and as a band, we have to think of our current situation and what our options are and our only option that we want is that we have to move onward and upward."

Obvious to anyone but MP...

Holy cow, haven't read it yet, but that interview must've taken forever.

Great interview.  I love JLB interviews.  Such a well spoken, interesting and intelligent guy.

I don't think it was a good interview. I don't think it was well structured. While reading it I thought JLB having excruciating pain with each random question. I sometimes feel the pain artists have to endure to give the fans something we want.

Cool interview, thanks for posting it.
