I was wondering if anyone has gone threw youtube and watched all the making of clips from the differant albums at beartracks it was pretty cool watching them in order , and funny stuff to. There was always i point someone gave Myung a dig for not speaking in someway lol.
The best one to see was IAW to bad the video was so bad though , I thought it was cool all around to see them all at once for all those albums.

Done it. Very cool videos. My favorite part was Portnoy finishing up drum tracks for Learning to Live outro. You can see that the band understood they were in the process of finishing up pure MAGIC.
Also interesting to me because I used to hook up with the daughter of the owner of Bear Tracks, Jay Beckenstein.

I'm so pissed that the audio from the video where JP is doing the rhythm guitar for Another Day is fucked! That's the best part!

The chai latte takes precedents over the drum solo.

I like how JM throws his pick at the camera.

Aquila Chrysaetos

There isn't a making of "Awake" is there?

I love JLB playing basketball :lol
We're talking about Images and Words not SFAM.

There's a bit of footage on the Five Years In A Livetime DVD.

fadetoblackdude7

They need to return to Beartracks for the next record.

Sadly, Beartracks closed down a few years ago.

kartmaze2

Has anything else from DT than I&W, ACOS, SFAM and 6DOIT been recorded there?
What a line-up, btw!  :metal

I have a DVD boot called "The Making of Images and Words". It has the footage you're all talking about. I got it from a gut I met on here I think. It's got "Love Lies Bleeding" from Ronnie Scotts tagged on at the end.

Since that's not an official release, could you fix this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao2_wfPP9ug

Watched a lot of it, but not the whole thing. The audio was really low and I had trouble hearing the dialogue on my computer speakers.  :P I'll have to watch the full thing sometime, it was pretty good from what I remember.

darkshade

slightly off topic, but how come there's no 'making of' videos out there for Octavarium? ive seen clips for every album except that album. anyone know why?

LKap13

I can't say for sure, it's an interesting observation.
At the very least, you can see Portnoy laying down the drum tracks. Search drumavarium on Youtube
