Innocence Faded right now.

I was so addicted to that a few months ago, but I totally overlistened so now I need a break from it

I've recently acquired Cleaning Out the Closet through means which can't be mentioned here, so I've been into that.  Especially The Way it Used to Be and Cover My Eyes.  Which reminds me of a funny story (about how I originally discovered DT):  Years ago I used to post on the Metallica boards and everyone was always talking about what a badass guitar player some band called Dream Theater had.  I decided to hit up Kazaa or whatever P2P was hot at the time and check out what was described as their new extremely awesome heavy song called The Glass Prison.  So I downloaded a file titled "The Glass Prison" by Dream Theater.  After a listen I was blown away by the guitar playing; considering that I idolized Kirk Hammett at the time this should be no surprise.  However, I absolutely hated the song and thought the band completely sucked.  I immediately deleted it and wrote them off.  Eventually I revisited the Dream Theater idea by getting Images and Words and have been hooked ever since.  But I always wondered about that song I downloaded, because when I eventually bought 6DOIT I discovered that TGP was definitely not the song that I downloaded, but the singer was certainly JLB.  Well, turns out it was Don't Look Past Me, and coming from a metal background I can understand why I hated it so much at first.  But now I kinda like it, it's weird how musical tastes change over time.

Currently:
TCoT, Blind Faith, Surrounded (off the Chaos in Motion DVD, I keep playing JR/JP's duet and JP's subsequent solos over and over just thinking to mysel... "Damn!"), Innocence Faded & Rasing the Knife off Score.

Zydar

None, actually. I've felt burnt out on them for a while now. Perhaps I've overdosed on them during recent years.

lodeus

The Count of Tuscany

Aramatheis

The Mirror
Scarred
The Great Debate
Stream of Consciousness
Strange Déja Vu

Especially the Score version. Dat LaBrie.
;D
Sometimes I just find the video of the second verse and replay it a bunch.

wolfking

TCOT, ANTR and AROP are the only 3 songs I've listened to from DT in like 3 months.

6DOIT is right now, my fav album.I didn't listen to CD1 for a long time, but now :metal
The Great Debate FTW

Metropolis pt.-1

The glass prison. First song I ever heard by DT, so it has a particularly sentimental value to me :D

Obfuscation

It has to be Stream of Consciousness. Have never gotten tired of it and never will.

Daso

Space Dye Vest (since the day before yesterday), Only a Matter of Time (since about 2 months ago), Lie (since about last week). Yeah, all Moore lyrics songs for some odd reason.

ThroughHerEyesDude6

"Under a Glass Moon".
I never thought this song would grow on me as much as it did, but damn. It's catchy.

Before I was hooked on "Metropolis Pt. 2" & "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence"

The random theme tunes during the instrumental section are just awesome

Ben_Jamin

I laughed hard when I heard The Simpsons.

The Best of Times, its just sad. Its uplifitng then gets depressing, but then it has hope at the end. Overall I'd say it does its job, and is top 10 for me.

cyberdrummer

Since the documentary trailer came out, TCoT.

Listening to Both back-to-back is almost forshadowing.

TBoT about MP leaving, TCoT being their search for new drummer...

Therefore TCoT is the new drummer...
