JLB is a class-act

It makes me think of how Mike's reputation with the fans seemed to decline after Scenes. At first, everyone loved Mike and no-one could think of anything better than Mike taking over the band. And then came the forum shut-down, the "Never Enoughs," the continual sterilization of anything controversial at his own site, etc.

And I'm pretty sure his reputation will go even more down in the next years. Most DT fans outside the forum don't like A7X that much and the fact that he's having party-tour fun with them like a teenager won't be rising up his reputation a bit. Also it depends on how good or bad the next DT album(s) without him will be. If they come to be awesome, everyone will blame him for holding DT from making a great album, even if this is not true at all.

Exactly. These are men messing around. JLB is very sarcastic person, so that's presumably how he'd respond to something like that. I act equally (if not way more) mean to my guy friends. We're just messing around and do it in good fun.

Agreed there. I think we don't need to read too far into that kind of statements. I don't know about the grated cheese, but the words on the SC documentary were said in jest IMHO.
