I'm sure I'm not the only one that loves that outro and I'm not talking about the drums solo, I'm talking about those awesome solos and melodies at the end of the song.
The best way to end SFAM.  :metal

Who's with me?

I was with you until you said you weren't talking about the drum solos.  Then I was like ???

I'm mostly talking about the little outro after the solo.

The drums are meh, but man what a bass line.

TAC

I love the coda that they added onto it. It was a majestic way to end it.
Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Quote from: Stadler on February 08, 2025, 12:49:43 PMI wouldn't argue this.

epic live ending to an epic album is epic.

Jamariquay

The gunshots always kind of annoyed me. Otherwise I agree with everything above.

Her scream made me deaf when I saw Schmedley Wilcox live

That outro is badass, haven't seen the LSFNY DVD in years, but I just checked out that last bit and it's amazing. Weren't the last few chords with JR's bell-synth-whatever sound used on SDOIT?

Metropolis 2000 is such a great concert video. I think I'll watch it this weekend...

SystematicThought

I love the outro and everything about that album and hearing SFAM live.

The only thing I don't like about the package is the way JLB says Key in Home:

Her story
It holds the key

It just sounds weird to me

The Letter M

I love the entire Metropolis 2000 video as well! My only problem is the lyrical mistake by Theresa in "The Spirit Carries On"... but I think it works out.
Original lyric: "But please never let / Your memory of me disappear"
Live lyric: "Please never forget / Let your memory of me disappear"

Eh... I like to think there's an implied/unheard "or" before "Let"...it still kind of fits the meaning that way.

Either way, it's a fantastic show overall and definitely one for the ages. And I agree, that outro/coda to "Finally Free" is fantastic! Love the reprisal of themes from "One Last Time".
