Oh god, I know it wouldn't really fit with DT's brand of music, but I wish Jordan Ruddess would do this more often, I enjoyed that more than most of the stuff off DT's last four albums. Not trying to start shit, that was just beautiful.

I don't think it was any sort of "FU" to anyone... just more of a... "black cloud", if you will. Even though everyone's trying to move on and portray this in a positive light, seeing the greener grass, but this is still a blow to the band through and through. It just sounds like he's just emoting that side of things... it's anger, yes, but nothing directed anywhere....except through his hands onto the piano.

That's how I interpreted it. He clearly isn't particularly pissed at Mike or he wouldn't have posted something so heartfelt on his own Twitter, so I think it was more a reflection of his mood and feelings internally, if that makes sense.

Why did I feel the need to listen to this at work...I well up when he starts singing...
