DT Ticket Help - Chicago Theater on 3/8/2025 - Any Chicago Residents?

Hi DTF,

I'm sorry if this is against the rules but I thought we might be able to scratch each other's backs.

I'm trying to buy tickets to see DT on 3/8/25 and Stubhub charges $148 in fees on $368 worth of tickets. I can avoid these fees by purchasing tickets directly from the box office but I have to be physically present to do so. Unfortunately, I'm 8 hours away.

Are there any fans in Chicago who would be willing to go to the box office and purchase these tickets for me? I would happily meet up at the show and buy you a shirt or a merch item of your choice so that some good Samaritan gets the reward for their effort instead of some conglomerate that generates shareholder value by ripping people off. I'd also be happy to compensate you with extra cash instead, or mail a shirt to you if you don't care to meet my silly ass IRL   I'd rather pay a fellow DT fan $50 than pay StubHub $150.

I would prefer to use PayPal - they have great buyer and seller protections so that I could pay you in advance and still have recourse if the tickets were not provided. I figured nobody wants to front this kind of money to an internet stranger either so that would eliminate that risk. If anyone is willing, I would be very grateful.
