Oh, yeah, we could do that. I mean the point of this specific project was as a 'thank you' to Mike Portnoy and Dream Theater in general, since he's the one who has to deal with the fans the most of his band mates. I mean it's kinda hard to explain what this is all about without producing the now imploded DTF thread.

If you guys really wanna do it for the DTX release date sure, I'm down with that. But will everyone be able to throw together their clips and everything by then?

Also, we should probably have a "committee" of sorts to figure this whole project out.

Alright, be that the case, let's see then about clip content. Obviously the point is still a "thank you" to the band, and one suggestion is giving your name and your forum name on the DT forum of choice (or you could do all of yours if you belong to multiple DT forums). I dunno, what do you guys think should also happen in your short clip? I mean like I suggested as well you could even just show yourself air jamming to your favorite DT song or something.

Maybe we could get the resident musicians (myself included) to record a cover? A medley maybe?

If you can't get a camera, then a photoshopped picture of you talking Monty Python style may be an option.

I'll have to try and be creative with it. 15 mins of people saying "thanks guys, DT r00lz!1lol" would be boring no matter how nice the incentive.

but id be kinda mad if my bandmate got a 30 minute long video of people thnaking him
then my birthday comes around and i et nothing.
i would just feel kinda unappreciated, but i guess thats just me...

and, if there is a way for me to get the videos onto my mac, i can MAYBE do the editing.
