What exactly happens at these in store appearances? Does he simply sit at a table and sign?
I've never been to a musician's in store appearance.

I'll try to hit up the NJ one while I'm on vacation  :metal

Apparently MP's goal for 2010 is to die of exhaustion.  It's a good thing that he wrapped up the 12 steps suite on BC&SL.
Quote from: BlobVanDam on December 11, 2014, 08:19:46 PMHef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Shame he hasn't done a instore appearance in London for a while, would love to meet him!

Nick

If I didn't meet Portnoy a half dozen times already I'd definitely do the NJ one, but as is I think I'd rather do some quality tailgaiting.

But you can't do that at PNC :P

Nick

I've done it before and I bet I'll be able to do it again. :p

If I can convince my step-dad to take a two hour trip to the New Jersey one, I'll be there.

Birch Boy

My step-dad doesn't wanna drive that far, looks like I'm not going  :sadpanda:.

A 2 hours drive to have a 15 seconde chat with Mike is kinda ridiculous.

We have family we could visit there, although if I had a car I'd drive that far and take a small road trip with my friends.

Zook

My plan if I get a chance to meet Portnoy: Josh and I will wear KrotchRaut stickers, I'm gonna bring my favorite DT albums and Lifting Shadows for him to sign, I'm gonna give him a whole sheet of KrotchRaut stickers, and my ultimate goal: have him do the classic Immortal pose with us for a picture. :metal

As a recovering alcoholic myself, does anyone think it would be inappropriate to ask Mike to sign my AA Big Book?
