I think we're gonna be hearing some new Maiden too! El Dorado debuted yesterday on the maiden site :metal

Was anyone from these forums at the Prog Nation concert in Toronto last year as well? I ask because I had a wicked conversation about Scenes and Octavarium and Awake near the bathrooms before Scale The Summit came on and I wanted to know if those guys were here haha

That show was intense. Maiden ruled, of course.
However, a friend of mine was up close to the concert and took pics. This one REALLY stood out:

El JoNNo

Maiden was indeed very good.
Pros - Bruce runs around like a mad mother fucker
       - The Set list was great I mean come on the encore had The Number of the Beast and Hallowed Be Thy Name
      - Highlights for me: The Number of the Beast, Dance of Death, Hallowed Be they Name.

Cons - There Volume levels were poor at times. Sometimes Bruce was drowned out by the instruments and during the first 3 songs there was some feed back coming off one of the guitars.
- Bruces singing although has improved since the late 90's, he still is very narrow and sounds like his head is going to explode when he hits higher notes.

Dream Theater
Pros - JLB was on fire! He was singing with grit, growls and would change to clean notes effortlessly. He nailed the higher notes in PMU.
      - Sound was great, only a few parts were off
      - Not as loud as IM was, big plus there.

Cons - 50 min setlist. I was hoping for an hour and a half.
       - They went all metal, granted it was an IM concert. I was hoping for something a little more proggy.
       -Highlights for me: Home, PMU
