Sorry if this has been posted in other threads, but...

With DT's set list for this tour being around 1 hour long, do you think they might do the 12 step suite? Or do you think they'd save it for when they are headlining a tour?

7StringedBeast

This could be a possibility for sure.

glaurung

I don't think that will happen. Not with such a limited set time.

Save for Evening With. Maiden fans will go there wanting to :birch: , and when they hear "Panic Attack", "A Rite Of Passage", and "Pull Me Under" they will be like  :metal . Unlike if they played "Octavarium" or the softer/longer songs, then the Maiden fans will be like  :tdwn

I think it was Bosky who suggested TGP/TSF only idea and I would love to see that.

This would be very agreeable. Metal from start to finish. The Maiden fans will be all :2metal:

The 12-steps suite won't be played at the IM opening shows.

The Letter M

It would be VERY interesting to hear "The Shattered Fortress" segued into "The Glass Prison"... lyrically it won't make such sense, but musically it does with the TGP reprise at the end of TSF. Then maybe they could segued TGP into TDS and play 3/5ths of The Twelve-Step Suite, and kind of out of order.  :lol

I wonder what the chances are of a show or two being recorded and released?

-Marc.

If any, MSG will be the one I'd bet to be recorded no doubt.

There definitely won't be an official DVD of MSG (Because they aren't the headline) but maybe there'll be at Ytsejam release.

I wouldn't doubt it if either one or both recorded it, either for an official or unofficial release. That's what I meant.

Setlist Scotty

I can now confirm without any doubt that the 12 Step Suite will not be played when they open for Maiden.
Quote from: BlobVanDam on November 13, 2015, 07:37:14 PMAs a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

As if that was even a question.

Thanks for the confirmation, though, Scott.
