*New intervew with Roger Waters"

"Yeah, the ending of that bloody Spirit Carries On song is from Eclipse. *DAAAA-da-da-da-da-da* . I couldn't believe it when I heard it. It's the same time signature - it's 6/4 - and it's the same structure and it's the same notes and it's the same everything. Bastards. It probably is actionable. It really is! But I think that life's too long to bother with suing Dream fucking Theater...

TSCO is definitely one of the more Floydian DT songs. Someone (Mike or Jordan, can't recall) on the Metropolis 2000 commentary talks about how JP was going for the ultimate "Petrucci/Gilmour" vibe.
Yeah. And JLB really gives off a sort of Waters vibe in the opening lines.

Yes. That really whispery "Where did we come from?" sounds near-exactly like Roger.

Well, of course The Spirit caries on sounds like Eclipse and a whole other bunch of Pink Floyd songs, that's what makes it so awesome.  :hefdaddy :hefdaddy :hefdaddy

I doubt it but could be wrong, I know the quote the guy put was originally Waters talking about Andrew Lloyd Webber... right? regarding the Phantom Of The Opera overture... right?
