I had a same experience.   SFAM was the first DT album I listened to and when I got to the end of The Spirit Carries On i was so blown away - I literally leaned back in my chair and said "holy shit"

I love how the album takes you through so many emotions; for the longest time I would almost burst into tears when the choir part of TSCO hit me. I think that's one of the most powerful moments in music. Not just in the DT catalog, but in any music.

The whole album is just a beautiful piece of art. It is my first DT CD. Though I'm not a fan of ballad songs, the softer songs in this album really got me attached. It's just

As many have said before and many will say again . . . what an experience this album is.  I was planning to go to sleep at some point, and decided to listen to the first few tracks.  I'm on TDOE now.  I've gone this far, might as well finish it!
