Responding to Samsara's list because he tends to put together thought-provoking responses to things:

"Ytsejam" - I like it, but I'm not dying to hear it.  I wouldn't be upset if they played it, but I wouldn't request it myself.
"Another Day" - Do not want.  Not a very good song, and even if you like the song as it is, every live version I've ever heard has been bad.  James can't sing this song properly in a live setting, which is not a knock on him--it's just too hard to sing well.
"6:00" - Want!  Good song, and I would expect that it would be great live.  Not played much (if at all) since the SDOIT tour.
"Lie" - Want!  Good song, and I would expect that it would be great live.  Haven't seen it an would very much like to.
"Space Dye Vest (I know, I know, but it's a WISH list)" - You know how much I hate the song.  I would never request it.  But if they did play it, I would be happy for the fans who are dying to hear it and I think it would be reasonably good live.
"Speak to Me" - Hmmm...Woiuldn't mind hearing this.
"Anna Lee" - Pretty song.  On my list as well.  Would love to see it.
"Trial of Tears (never gets old)" - Yes, it's a great song, but I've seen it enough, to be honest.  I'd rather that time in the set be conserved for something I really want to hear.

"A Change of Seasons" - My third favorite.  How could I not love it if they played it?

I really want Dream Theater do something similar to Yes' "Masterworks" set, i.e. play the epics and classics.

I'm not entirely convinced I'm happy with this. It feels a bit "off." But there's a lot of good, and surprising songs on there. I quite like the slightly different encore.



The songs I'm itching to see are Stream of Consciousness, These Walls, 6:00, Take the Time, Lie, Finally Free, Prophets of War, and so on. I'm sure there's more. I'm staggered that I've not seen Take the Time yet.

4. 12 steps suite

I have to admit, if I knew beforehand that they would play it, I would probably skip that concert. There's been good sections in each song, but overall I always thought it was a too drawn-out effort.

The Master of Puppets was the coup de gras.  When I saw them on that tour in SF at the Warfield, They played about an hour long set, took a break, played Six Degrees, took a break, played Home and then covered Master of Puppets.  Way up on my list of best shows ever, and I've seen a lot of shows.
I still would sacrifice one, and maybe two, testicles to see them play Wait For Sleep/Learning To Live.  And a complete CoS would be cool too.  When I saw them do that on the FoI tour, they broke it up into three parts throughout the show.
