Would you guys say that No-Man qualifies under 'electronic music'?
Cause i think some of their music would. :P

About Bass Communion, i got: Ghosts on Magnetic Tape, Molotov and Haze & Atmospherics.
I like them all very much, any recommendation on what to get next?

Also, new Pendulum-album called "Immersion" will be out on May 24th i believe, Steven Wilson will contribute to a song on it, called "The Fountain". :)

Definately get I, if not for the song "Drugged" alone.

Well the only electronic thing about no-man, is their breakbeats, but they only incorporated that on their first couple ep's/albums.
So I wouldn't say that they make electronic music.

As for Bass Communion, go for I, II, and Loss. Together with Ghosts... those are the best albums Steven Wilson made within BC.
Oh and of course, you SHOULD check out Continuum II, if only for the first track: Construct IV.

PENDULUM IS ALL LIKE AMEN BREAK AMEN BREAK AMEN BREAK (or so I got from Hold Your Colour :/)

Anyway, I'll just list my top ones atm:
-Boards of Canada
-Flying Lotus
-Aphex Twin
-Telefon Tel Aviv
-Yppah
-Royksopp
-Portishead
-Coil
-Orbital
-u-Ziq
-Massive Attack
-Daft Punk
-Crystal Castles
-Black Moth Super Rainbow
-worriedaboutsatan
-Lone
-The Chemical Brothers
-65daysofstatic (whenever they play their electro stuff, which they have lots of)
-Venetian Snares
-Aether
-Plaid
-Air
-Bjork
-BT (sometimes)
-The Future Sound of London
-Ulver
-Two Lone Swordsmen

As you can tell, electronic is my #1 genre.

Also, forgot to mention: Anyone who doesn't like Boards of Canada should be shot.

Mr. Neccy, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Calm down, I've got lots of new albums to listen to...it's been on the list for a few weeks.

And Flying Lotus is definitely more electronic than hip-hop I'd say

Cosmogramma (new Flying Lotus) isn't quite as good songwise as Los Angeles, but it has better flow from an album perspective.  Both are awesome.

I'd say Flying Lotus is more electronic than hip-hop just because he does a crapload of experimentation and effects that is pretty much unknown in hip-hop, except a wee bit in groups like Antipop Consortium.

Volk, that sounds pretty cool (assuming it's electronic, that is).  What did you use to create it?

Some live instruments, a lot of VSTI's, and some wavepad for editing.

The music itself is breakbeat, sometimes hard, and sometimes soft and atmospheric. Its instrumental, but theres a few samples. DJ Krush is my biggest influence probably. The website is in the working right now, so after thats done I can start releasing more information.
