Just got BT's most recent album, These Hopeful Machines. It's a ton of music to take in, but it's really great. A Million Stars is gorgeous.

Also continuing my trance obsession, it have discovered that Above and Beyond is a perpetual creator of happiness. My life is now significantly improved as a result.

Woah.

So the Czech electronic artist Floex is putting up a song from his new album every day leading up to its release, and shit, this is shaping up to be really, really good.  The link to it is here, https://www.floex.cz/ ...and check back again for new songs and the album when it's out if you like what you hear!  There are three songs up so far and I can't get enough of them!

Pendulum- Immersion is amazing, best dance album I've come across so far. The other albums are also reallly good.
The Prodigy- The Fat of the Land, but also Music for the Jilted Generation and Invaders Must Die
Fatboy Slim - Only have We've Come A Long Way, Baby, but it's a very fun album
Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole, also a very fun album.
BT - This Binary Universe  :hefdaddy :hefdaddy :hefdaddy :hefdaddy

Radiohead - Kid A, Amnesiac, HTTT yadda but I don't really consider them to be electronic music in the strict sense.

Pendulum still remains my favorite electronic-band/artist, I'm not that far from 2k plays on lastfm now. :)

Hey guys. I never noticed this thread before so I never posted, but I'm a huge electronic music fan. I run a project called Madcoil, kind of ambient vintagey electronic, and I have a song in the Bleep "Filtered" contest. If you like this kind of music, give it a listen and if you can leave me a comment, good or bad, I would really appreciate it. The song has already been favorited by Bleep.com so I think it's doing good behind the scenes, but I've gotten almost no feedback on it.

https://soundcloud.com/madcoil/leaving-earth-madcoil

Enjoy!

I've been loving Hold Your Colour lately. Granite is the only one on In Silico that's clicked, though.

Give In Silico some time, it has some fantastic songs.  :tup

Whoa  :tup That's a lot of listens.

I have listened to Immersion about 20 times now, still not getting old. God this album is good.

Hold your Color is still their "weakest" album tho

I'd probably rank Hold Your Colour as their best, but Immersion and In Silico are just as good quality-wise to be honest, it's just preferences. :P

Nah man, Hold your Color has too much filler, although Slam, Hold your Color, Girl in the Fire and Another Planet are all very awesome songs.

In Silico is just a very good album with a lot of good flow, but not a lot of high points.

Immersion = 67min eargasm

Hold Your Colour has some of my favorite Pendulum-songs though, songs like: Another Planet, Still Grey (depending on what version you have), the title-track obviously, Girl in the Fire, Blood Sugar (again, depending on version), and Plasticworld.

In Silico has 9000 Miles, Granite, Showdown, Propane Nightmares, The Tempest, Visions and Midnight Runner.

Immersion has Encoder, The Island (both Parts), The Fountain and Under the Waves.

Well, I really love all of their albums, these are just some of my favorites. :P
I might also add that Voodoo People would be high on my list, but I don't think there's a studio version of it.

Salt in the Wounds is probably one of my least favorite Pendulum-songs, but the others you mentioned are great obviously.  ;)

Pendulum rules, but I think Board of Canada would be my favorite electronic artist at this point. They're so awesome.

I love the way the hip-hop beat in the intro to Slam blends with the horn section to give it a sort of low-tempo march feel. That and the huge bass make it orgasmic.

Definitely, even with the 'oh/yeah' part at the beginning. And then the awesome voice, and the slow saw and then BAM! Just makes you want to jump around

Slam is fantastic, but out of their more 'radio'-friendly songs, I kinda prefer some of their other songs like Showdown, Blood Sugar and Granite.

Nothing wrong with Slam though, love it.  :tup

I'm trying to get into electronic music, but I only really like Pendulum and The Prodigy. Trance just strikes me as a genre that should of died in the 90's, so none of that noise.  :lol

Normally I'd kill you for saying such a thing, but I'm far too happy and loved-up from all the trance to actually do anything but hug you.

I think it's good, but not heard it enough times to rank it against the second.

Quite a bunch of the stuff I've been enjoying has been coming from the Ghostly label

https://ghostly.com/

Musicians like Matthew Dear, Deastro, and even Justin Brodarick's Pale Sketcher project calls the label home.

The other label that works with my electronic music tastes would be DFA.  Aside from the just-disbanded LCD Soundsystem, their roster includes The Rapture (who just released a great follow-up album recently) and The Juan MacLean, who are releasing a collection of b-sides and remixes before year's end.

The Kitsune Maison compilations are one of my best sources for new and interesting electronic music acts.  They usually have some great remixes from France.  Got to hear music by Yelle and remixes of Phoenix's stuff from them.

Other than those, I've also been checking out some music by Junior Boys and Washed Out.
