Yeah, it was Hong Kong, SK, and Japan. I was in Tokyo 5 days.

Tokyo is an interesting city, but personally I prefer the Japanese countryside better. The north island of Hokkaido is one of my fav places to visit.

I definitely love the nature of Japan (spent some time up in the Alps north of Nagoya both times I visited) but I love the madness of the city as well.

Those look pretty cool. Did you color grade them? Or did the blue/yellow happen naturally?

Also this isn't unique, but here's my eclipse photo!

First of all, WOW @ your photo...

As for mine, I only made some very minor color adjustment on Lr and nothing else. The street lights in my area more or less appear in that color naturally, I simply removed much of the orange and raised the blue hue a little.

Oh cool. I like how in the set the yellow and blues seem to match.

I'm thinking about getting a wide angle lens to get my interest in photography up again. Anybody here have one and would like to share some thoughts/pics?

Sadly I don't have a dedicate wide angle prime yet. What kind of body do you have? Right now I just use my 24-70, which I did use to take this photo at the last con I went to.

I decided to buy a Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6. This is one of the pics I took with it.

Taking a few days off and staying in Canal Park on Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota. Took this shot from our hotel room balcony. The rainbow lasted only a few minutes, but it was really cool to see.

It is so hard to take photos of rainbows. For whatever reason the human eye gets the contrast much better than cameras.

I'm guessing that quite a lot of the colours in the rainbow might fall outside the gamut of typical cameras or monitors.
