I agree Floor sounds a bit less energetic on the Wembley show than on some of the other recordings. Subtle and not really a problem since she sounds great anyways, but I did notice it.
Also, after listening to End of An Era and Made in Hong Kong yesterday, I greatly prefer any pro recording with Floor. A big difference in terms of music is that these older live releases rely heavily on symphonic (choir) keys and (vocal) backing tracks during the choruses to give that epic sound, whereas in the latest live releases, the vocal melodies are really carried by just Floor for the most part (and by Marco, offcourse), with mostly only subtle backing tracks to the live vocals.
I am a big fan of Annette's studio performances but she just doesn't bring that sense of melody and emotion to a live setting. Not so big on that release. And on End of and Era, Tarja sounds a bit worn out (and slowish at times) and has a particularly wide vibrato (compare it to the older live release, for example). Tarja does have a very characterisic voice that fits these songs though, so I do really enjoy End of an Era. On the older live release From Wishes to Eternity, Tarja performed much better.
