Rush - Where's My Thing?  (The rarest US promo ever. I've heard there were either 250 or 300 of these made. For some reason, when Roll The Bones came out some stations got this as the advance track instead of Dreamline and after Dreamline took hold, Where's My Thing? was never heard on commercial radio again.  I can scan in my copy, which is probably near mint, and email it if need be. $70

And why do you have unopened John Coltrane albums??

Because I bought them only to find that I already had them. I suppose part of it is I don't listen to those particular ones as much as say Live In Seattle, A Love Supreme, Blue Train, Interstellar Space, Live At The Half Note, Mediations or some others.

Buying stuff I already have doesn't happen nearly as much as it used to as I now default to DON'T buy if I'm not sure. It beats getting them home and cursing myself that it was sitting on the shelf the whole time.

I forgot myself. I'll get back to you.  That was a while ago.

Not surprisingly I guess, I may have run out of vinyl copies of Moving Pictures (or at least the ones I was willing to part with).

Would that be for the US vinyl copy, the Candaian Anthem copy, or the Red vinyl?

I wish.

If I did, I wouldn't need to spend the time (and money) searching record shows and stores collecting (and enjoying) music.

Not collecting as much as I used to. Or I should say narrowing the focus of collecting these days. Just trying to keep it under control.

Well what are the prices and differences between them?

Well, the red vinyl is $20, the Canadian Anthem pressing is $12 and the US pressing is $8. All of them have the gatefold lp jackets which were dropped when Hemispheres was reissued with the black border (frame?) around the cover.

Shall I PM you rather than bore DTF with boring trivial details?

I've decided to part with this Gary Hoey disc that is likely out of print (actually it's an extra I found. It's good, but not good enough that I need two around here).

Gary Hoey -- Endless Summer II Soundtrack (Gold-Stamped Promo with Tony Franklin on bass and Greg Bissonette on drums, Dick Dale) $10

I'm also in the process of going through my Rush and Dream Theater (promo and tour) posters to decide which ones I now longer feel the need to have.

I decided I'm keeping the posters from When Dream And Day Unite, Images and Words and Awake...sorry. (I looked at them for a few just to make sure)

I think I might still have an album flat lying around somewhere, but you might already have one of those.

I have decided to part with a few promo posters from the Rush ReplayX3 DVD box which included the DVDs from Exit...Stage Left, Grace Under Pressure Tour and A Show Of Hands. I want to do some research to figure out what to price them at (very reasonably as usual) and I still have to do more digging in the closet for more posters that I'm willing to let go.

Actually, I don't. I was going to buy one off of you but then I had to opt out for reasons I no longer remember.

Do you have any Six Degrees promo/tour posters available?  Or album flats for that matter?  Let me know, I'd be interested...also would be interested in Scenes posters.

I have them (no flats other than what's out there ) but I still need to decide if I still want to keep them. I should have more time to go digging in the closet this weekend.
