More excitingly...

Oh yes. Bring the noise.

Ghastly by a long shot. He can cause nightmares with his mind.

But because ghost is super effective against ghost, and Boo doesn't count as a ghost, Ghastly might bite it this time.

However, aren't Boo's attacks physically based? He'd have a hard time damaging Ghastly if that were the case, as I think Ghastly is supposed to be literally a cloud of gas.

Wouldn't boo just stop and cover his face once the fight started?

Gastly has Dream Eater though.
The only thing Boo would win at is tennis. Only because he can do that ballsy make-the-ball-curve-slightly move.

Pikachu beat Onix, even back when he was a n00b at the first gym.
Although being chained to something could pose a problem as well.

Well, sort of. He used the sprinklers, and destroyed Brock's gym. Then Brock came by, said "you didn't win, but here's your badge anyway", and then left his father to care for his 86 siblings while he went and had fun. Wasn't really a straightfoward victory.
Since then, I don't think Onix ever lost.
Onix would just have the size on Chain Chomp.

Chain chomp is made out of metal though, and has pretty big teeth. He would have to be loose from the pole to be able to win though, otherwise Onyx could just keep tossing rocks at him.

I still feel like Onix has the pure size on him.

Chain Chomp is for sure more high tech. When he gets off the chain, steel with giant teeth beats a couple of boulders with a face.

I really feel like watching the series again.
It's been many years, but the classic Pokemon could easily stand the test of time.
What pissed me off is how Ash gave away so many Pokemon!
He gave away Pidgeot, Primeape, Butterfree, Charizard, Squirtle, and tried to let Pikachu go several times. Plus, the very same episode that Togepi finally evolves into Togetic, Misty gives it away to be the Queen of the Togepi.

Chain chomp is made out of metal though, [...]

Let's match it up against Steelix, then. But then again, I don't think that it would make that much of a difference against Chain Chomp.

Steelix is even bigger than Onix. It would be a blowout.
I can't remember is Steel even effective against Steel?

Not very effective against each other. And the difference are only 40 centimetres, which is nothing compared to how long Onix and Steelix are.

Well, it may be a deadlock then. It can't see one steel guy fighting another and one clearly winning. It'd just be a lot of clanging, with no real victor.

then.

Luigi can be interchangeable with Mario most of the time though. Luigi can throw fire and use drugs (SSBB) but Mr. Mime has the awesome power of being terribly annoying.

There was an enormous chain chomp in one of the early levels of Super Mario 64. Many, many times the size of Mario. And if Mario is a short human, it would be a fair fight in terms of size against Steelix.

Seriously. Like what is Pokemon teaching us as a society? That it's OK to cheat to win and abandon our families to go party with our friends?

And what about the fact everytime a Pokemon is caught they're imprisoned in Prof. Oak's pedophile farm in the middle of fucking nowhere? And that they're happy about it?

Yep. Pokemon is just the Japanese trying to rape our children.

Chain chomp can indeed be HUGE. Not sure how Steelix can do anything against that.
