Unless Bowser has mean Ultra Potion, Blastoise would crush him.

Even if Blastoise can't be super effective, Bowser's fire would still be ineffective on Blastoise!

I mean, for God's sake! If Bowser can defeat a little Italian man, how can he hope to beat a giant turtle with cannons coming out of his back.

Also, this is a necessity:

Blastoise, because he has motherfuckin' cannons built into him. Also, this thread needs a poll.

Super Mario Bros. is awesome, while Pokemon is trash, so the decision is very easy.  :)

Blastoise. As mentioned above, Bowser's fire would be ineffective against Blastoise and Bowser can't even beat a midget plumber in a fight.

You guys are focusing too much on the fire. Bowser has claws, hammers, nimble jumping, and a spiked shell. Blastoise is slow, immobile, and his hydro cannons are his only meaningful weapon.

As for the Mario argument, it's not a worthy comparison. Mario is more nimble and tactically intelligent than both Blastoise and Bowser. Blastoise is less nimble and intelligent than Bowser. Mario beats Bowser because of advantages Blastoise doesn't have, so there's no reason to bring him into this conversation.

First of all, theres no way Bowser is that much more "nimble" then Blastoise.
Plus, Blastoise doesnt only have Hydro Pump; hes got Skull Bash, Bite, he can use his shell as a shield... And then theres all the TMs and HMs he can learn.
Blastoise has got all kinds of crazy shit goin on.

Blastoise has got all kinds of crazy shit goin on.

This is a good point. You have to establish what attacks Blastoise has going in.
