I'm seeing

Ride the Comet
Journey on The Waves of Time
The Decision Tree
01 songs

Pretty much anything other than THE

Marco, Tommy, and Mike probably means a TOE part as well.

Exactly...

This show is gonna be so awesome.

I sooo wish I could go to this, but in September I'll be starting a new practicum/classes and can't afford the time or money to travel :(

This better get a god damn DVD release though.

I'd die if I got to go. Happy for Arjen, sad I'll only see it on DVD if they make one.

Saturday and if I happen to see a ticket for Friday at some later point (on fb/marketplace or something), probably trying friday as well. But for the time being, I aim for one evening and my preference is Saturday. Since I am actively looking for a job (and finishing up my studies), I honestly don't know where I will be next year, so Saturday is a more safe option since I am fairly confident I will have my weekend off at least. My bet is most people who live and work at travel distance will aim for the Saturday because of work/travel.

There is no day for me. If I'm flying my ass all the way over there I'll be doing VIP on both days.

Okay, I can almost certainly say I will be there at Saturday show, barring some unforeseen circumstances. There's the matter of getting the tickets, but I hope it'll work out. Gonna try and grab them on a presale tomorrow.

Also, I don't know if this information is available anywhere, but I e-mailed Arjen regarding the possible differences between two shows and got a direct response from him (I swear, he's such a nice and great guy) that

SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD. No spoilers for any songs in the setlist though.

Direct quote from Arjen: "The plan is that it will be the same set list. But it’s always possible that certain singers will be changed. I hope not though."

Is the presale limited? During the TE, tickets were allocated to seats, but here, every ticket is the same unless it is VIP, offcourse. Anyways, I won't be able to buy tickets before tomorrow evening, so I hope there will be available.

I think it's limited. It would've been pretty silly if all the tickets were sold out at the presale.

Was able to get VIP for Friday, but Saturday was sold out, so had to get a regular ticket for that.

Friday it is, regular (someone else ordered for me)  :metal

Will maybe try saturday during the regular sale still, as the Theater Equation and the try out of that show were both amazing and I love the Star One and SOP DVD's a lot. And this concert has 5 singers I am a massive fan of on the same stage (Tommy, Floor, Russel, Hansi, Damian) and many others singers I really, really like as well.

So that means both Friday and Saturday are completely sold out in presale? Damn, that was quick. Great that they added a third one, I think they planned that possibility ahead.

But yeah, this one seems to have a lot more attention than the Theater Equation amongst the Dutch folks at least, since several people contacted me about it (Nightwish fans, Kamelot fans, Blind Guardian fans etc.).

Friday with friends, Sunday with my parents it is! Looking forward to this very much. Sunday hasn't sold out yet, so I hope those who don't have tickets are able to grab them still.

And Arjen Lucassen related, I will see the final show of the Gentle Storm as well the coming month  ;D There will be some guests at that show apparently (Ruud Jolie from Within Temptation, for example), but I don't expect Arjen to be there or anything. The album has really grown on me so I am glad that I will be able to see them. Furthermore, I have also attended the dvd recording show of Stream of Passion, which was great. It was more of a personal concert, so no guests like with their first dvd back when Arjen and Lori were in the band, but it was a great show nonetheless, with lot's of older material and some cool newer stuff.

So it's apparently sold out, 9000 tickets all three days. That's pretty damn epic, to bad I can't go but i'm sure as hell gonna get that DVD or Blu-ray.  :tup

Yes, damn that went quick. And deservedly so I'd say  ;D Glad to hear he basically confirms a dvd/br already, but I was already expecting that given the scale/line-up of this one. 013 is a great venue for that as well.

To be fair, I think waiting 18 months for a DVD is a little less stressful than waiting 10 for the actual show.

New sample is in. Didn't recognize the voice but the comment section says it is the guy from Pagan's Mind. I like the sample so look forward to hearing more.

Three singers to go before we know the full line up. I kind of expect there won't be any unknown person at this point. Thus far, only Mike Mills is unknown but we offcourse already know him from Ayreon by now. Anyways, regardless of the next few singers, this is already a very epic line-up.

So I recently got gifted a 7" vinyl single of the Theory of Everything, which has a B-side called "Anthropic Landscape". So I googled it and this is it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr9CrO7b7ao. It is a 3:50 minute chill instrumental synthesiser track. Nothing remarkable but I genuinely didn't know this one existed prior to holding the single in my hands.

Heh, my bet is the majority of the people use this method when doubt arises  :P

Mark Kelly, the keyboardist from Marillion, cool. And the latest singer is, I think, the guy from Myrath. First I thought Orphaned Land (due to the type of vocals) but the voice from that guy is different and lower. The singer of Myrath is great, he is melodic and powerful, so that would be great news.
