Congrats, ariich. An honorable loss. Now let me take you out to dinner for tea and cadbury chocolate, isn't that your favourite? /stereotype

Looks like I'm going against rumby then. Could this be the end? I think so.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the way you die.

No one by his side?

I don't understand, I don't feel that I deserve this.

Do you want one more chance?

Just because you're winnin'

Whoa, no giving extra chances unless I get to explain.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

Damn buddy, that was one hell of a battle, I genuinely had no idea who was going to win! Good game old chap, good game. :heart

Have to say, that round generally seems to have been the closest one ever. Our matchup was really close, plus there were two ties!

It was like every time one person voted for me or you, another one came and tied it up again. :lol

This was fun, I am honestly surprised I made past Guitarded, who is a great guy, and ZGF, who has been here a lot longer.

Yeah, at one point or another that batch could have ended in four ties, really close calls all around.

I'm really unsure of how I would have fared against James, but I think Rich will have no problem mopping me up.

Tiebreakers are over and results are posted.

It's interesting to note that not a single first seed made it to compete for a division championship.

And speaking of division champions, the matches are up now so we can decide who to crown!

Just so you guys know, after this round will come the tournament simi-finals, and then the finals.

With possible tiebreakers and such the semi's will probably be over just shy of Christmas Eve. For those traveling around the holidays and obviously those who are not around on them, the finals will be held sometime in the week between Christmas and New Years, probably starting sometime around the 27th.

Because the other two went on to become The Runner Up and The Forum Champ?

Goddamn that was close, by the way. In no way had I expected to do that well against Nick. I must give credit to a vindictive PLM.  ;D

But neither one is the Runner Up or Champ yet, so they should be in The Final Four.

Poor choice of words. They will go on to become. Obviously the round hasn't gone through yet, though neither can be classified as being in The Final Four category (well, technically..). I suppose Nick's classification on this entirely trivial matter.

I need a stamp of approval or something.

It's Final Four/Division Champs, so they should be in that category and on the Runner Up, Forum Champ too (when that voting gets done).

Why bother will all that repetition though? It's implied the Forum Champ and Runner up were in The Final Four, just as The Final Four were in Amazing 8.

NO!!! YOU'RE WRONG!!! REPETITION IS WIN!!!

No, but really, they're always repeated in tournaments that use this kinds of things (Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final Four, etc), but this is Nick after all.
