What Political Party or Affiliation? : Libertarian

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : None/Freethinker (but child of Evangelical missionaries)

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Let the state decide...

- Gay Marriage: Marriage should be taken out of the legal system.

- Health care: Government should act to encourage competition between health care providers.

- Gun control: No strong opinions as I've never really encountered guns in the U.S.

- Illegal Immigration: Should be treated according to the law; if you're illegal don't be expecting to be treated as a citizen.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): In general, against.

- Seperation of Church and State: Totally separate, but no point in hunting down every traditional religious symbol.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: There are more pressing issues.

- The UN: I'm not all that supportive, but international laws are necessary.

- Restrictions on curses on television: The concept of censoring words regardless of the context is silly.

- Death Penalty: Okay.

- Stem cell research: Government should not fund embryonic stem cell reseach.

- Drugs: There is no point in criminalizing a drug after there is no point in criminalizing it.

- Assisted suicide: Let people go to Sweden if they want.

What Political Party or Affiliation? : I'm registered a Republican (Due to Pennsylvania's primary system), however I consider myself a mix of a Libertarian and a Conservative. I voted for the Constitution party in 2004, and Ron Paul in 2008.

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Agnostic.

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: I am Pro-Life.

- Gay Marriage: I am opposed to gay marriage.

- Health care: I think health care reform should focus mainly on getting the government out of it.

- Gun control: I am generally against gun control.

- Illegal Immigration: I am STRONGLY opposed to illegal immigration.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Afghanistan was justified, however we should not have stayed to "nation build". Iraq was unjustified and foolish. I am against war except to defend America or its vital interests.

- Separation of Church and State: Even as an agnostic I want to choke all the stupid, idiotic people who think this is part of the Constitution. It's not, get over it. I understand there are often reasons to separate the two, but don't be a cock-gobbler and site the Constitution as one of your sources. Please read the document before you wipe your ass with it.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: Is it happening? Most likely. Is it our fault? Most likely. Should we do something about it? Yeah, but there are a lot of other issues that are of higher priority to me.

- The UN: A "feel good" organization that is neither necessary or effective. It lacks the power to do anything well, and if it had that problem it would probably encroach way too far onto nationalism.

- Restrictions on curses on television: Technology today allows for a variety of parental controls, any case that could have been made for this 20 years ago is gone.

- Corporate welfare: Get rid of it, but while we are at it eliminate the unfair corporate income tax that leads to double taxation.

- Private Charity: I support it?

- Public Welfare: Too vague.

- Death Penalty: I am for it.

- Stem cell research: I am generally for it as long as certain moral criteria are met.

- Guantanamo Bay: Bad, get rid of it.

What Political Party or Affiliation: Republican, because Libertarians have no chance in California.

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with: Christianity

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Against

- Gay Marriage: There should be no legal benefits attached to marriage, and you should be allowed to marry anybody you want.

- Health care: No gov't involvement

- Gun control: blows

- Illegal Immigration: Immigration is good, gov't handouts for immigrants aren't.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Against. Defensive wars only

- Seperation of Church and State: Yes, but not the shitty ACLU version. No federal involvement in religious affairs; especially at the state level.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: It's real; It's not a catastrophe. Cap and trade is bullshit.

- The UN: lol

- Restrictions on curses on television: The FCC can suck it.

- Corporate welfare: No.

- Private Charity: Absolutely

- Public Welfare: No.

- Death Penalty: Against

- Stem cell research: Mostly yes.

What Political Party or Affiliation? : None.

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Agnostic.

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Against, unless the mother is highly unlikely to survive the birth/pregnancy.  I hate the terms "pro life" and "pro choice", they are inflammatory and only serve to bog down discussion by diverting attention from the core of the issue (that is, whether a zygote/fetus/embryo is human).

- Gay Marriage: Apathetic.

- Health care: Needs drastic reform, but I generally oppose a complete overhaul to a publicly-funded system.

- Gun control: Fine the way it is here in the US.  Minimal at most, but I don't feel particularly strongly about it.

- Illegal Immigration: Against illegal immigration.  We've gotten ourselves into a total clusterfuck here in the US though, so I dunno.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Against in general, but is occasionally necessary (certainly not in the case of Iraq).

- Seperation of Church and State: Exactly what Nick said...so eloquently.  :lol

- Climate Change/Global Warming: Probably a legitimate issue, but hardly as urgent as it is often made out to be.  Also there is a lot of bogus science going around intermingled with the facts, and it's sometimes difficult to sift through.

- The UN: The idea is nice, but functionally it's pretty ineffective.

- Restrictions on curses on television: Against on principle, but don't really care.  Part of me screams "parents should be responsible for their kids, not the government", while the other part knows that they won't (this paradox contributes to my undecided nature on several issues).  But still, this is useless.

- Corporate welfare: Lots of corruption in this department leads me to say I'm against it in general.

- Private Charity: Pro.

- Public Welfare: Is grossly abused like any other system of its kind, which is frustrating but probably impossible to work around.  I'm for it, at least on principle.

- Death Penalty: There is no situation I can think of in this day and age which would necessitate executing a criminal to protect society from him.  That is the only potential ethical justification I can come up with for the death penalty, so I am against it.

- Stem cell research: Pro, within reason of course.

- Guantanamo Bay: What about it?  I generally share pogoowner's sentiments.

- Suicide: What about it?  It tends to be indicative of mental problems, which I believe should be addressed.  But that isn't always the case.

- Drugs: I lean toward legalizing certain drugs.

Affiliation: None

Religion: Agnostic

Abortion: Do anything reasonable we can to prevent and discourage them, make late term abortions illegal. Other than that, as is. I don't see any good answer to the problem.

Gay Marriage: Civil contracts to all. Stay out of "marriage," leaving it to religions to bar/allow. But any legal difference is unequal protection and governance. Could also care less what two men do to each other.

Health Care: Cap/regulation of profits, independent oversight of pricing, no recision, or denying for pre-existing coverage, unify health care records/infrastucture, privately run health care institutions, universal coverage with public subsidizing to reduce costs / cover poor and educate health care employees, end the special exemption insurance companies have from anti-trust laws, allow for cross-state insurance contracts, tort-reform, and a publicly run option. But there's also the issue of our countries health; we need to reform what food's we subsidize and in what amounts, and we also need to stop protecting the sugar industry in this country. It's doing nothing but distorting our food supply and making us fatter.

Gun Control: hand gun permits, rifle permits, hunting guns, etc.

Illegal immigration: stop trying to prevent people from coming to this country. It's never worked, it never will. Plus all the positives we'd see as a result of making it legal.

War: Pull out entirely of the Middle East. Leave embassies where we're wanted, obviously, but no military bases. I can't give a universal statement about war though... ideally, it would never happen, but I don't have enough trust in the current world to not create wars. Defense is perfectly appropriate.

Separation of Church and State: no endorsement of anything, but not such insane rigidity as to not allow any discussion of it in school or not allow people to celebrate their religion at school. Yet if a religion, or perhaps "religion," is extorting people in various ways, or committing crimes, the government should be able to intervene.

Climate Change/global warming: funding of research, promote green energy and aim to have as small of an impact upon the environment as possible. In some area's this requires regulations (such as what businesses put into rivers, what chemicals they use, etc), or the funding of greener power plants, etc. I really have no idea as to the severity if it, but there's pretty solid scientific evidence that CO2 will raise the temperature of the planet, and it's not absurd to think that we could be having an affect on the climate. But I guess most importantly, I should say that I don't 'think that it's the end of the world. That is clearly an overstatement. It could, however, be the end of modern human society, or at least the cause of major disruptions, deaths and turmoil.

The UN: Parts of it are a gigantic joke, some are rather important. Importantly, there should be some organization where all the countries of the world are members and voice their opinions. If it fails, it doesn't really mean much; but it's successes have an impact.

Curses on television: George Carlin.

Corporate Welfare: Crap.

Private Charity: yes.

Public Welfare: yes.

Death Penalty: against.

Stem cell research: yes. We have other way's than using embyro's, and the one's we did use were going to be killed anyways.

Guantanamo Bay: close it, and every other black prison site we have around the world.

What Political Party or Affiliation? : In US- independent, In Turkey- Republican People's Party (that's leftists, secular despite the US connotation)

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : none, atheist.

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: It's upto the mother, it's her body.

- Gay Marriage: They can get married as long as the tax exemptions for married people is lifted, it's a forced situation.

- Health care: Government has to provide independence and basic health care to its people.

- Gun control: Ban all heavy guns, hand guns should be licensed same as a driver's license with heavy trail to make sure criminals, mentally ill people don't get their hands on it.

- Illegal Immigration: No money to send them all packing, but they should not be here illegally, a new way of thinking to combat the mexican border is needed. Drugs play a big part on this.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): You started it, you are not allowed to leave before you clean up your mess. I don't care how many of you die.

- Seperation of Church and State: Secularism is the only viable option in a 'melting pot'.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: Man made mostly, can be reversed by investing in technology like the moon mission or arms race, the first one to self sustained system will win out in the future. Also, fresh water will be the cause of all wars provoked/unprovoked soon, so we must secure them.

- The UN: Archaic, I have first hand knowledge of the inner workings, and needs to be abolished to have any chance of a reformed body.

- Restrictions on curses on television: It's retarded to put it un-pc. Curse when curse is necessary is key, I can't stand people who use fuck as a comma.

- Corporate welfare: not too likely in the coming days.

- Private Charity: easily corruptable, in the case of government involvement, it should be tracked to see foul play, and in elections, charities donating should be forced to a pool that will be evenly distributed to all candidates, including the third, fourth parties.

- Public Welfare: i don't see 300 million getting anything decent from a system that allows too many parties to benefit from the system. This ties to my hatred of the union system and how easy it is to corrupt it.

- Death Penalty: if you have to have it, then use a noose, i'm not paying millions just to kill someone humanely, that's an oxymoron. the death penalty should be there as an option only for the sickest of the criminals that present no doubt whatsoever.

- Stem cell research: leave science to scientists, stop your fear mongering and false morals about what's alive and what's not. we wouldn't see you crying about stem cells if the only option for your family was them and there was a deadly disease that threatened us all. if it's not promising, we'll move on anyway.

- Guantanamo Bay: it's just a location, close it and another one will open somewhere.

What Political Party or Affiliation? : None. Probably would be classed as left wing by most people here but I generally I believe you should go with whatever works best for a particular case, whether that be left or right wing, libertarian or authoritarian.

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Nothing formal. Somewhere between Deism and Pantheism.

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Neccessary in some circumstances, but shouldn't be a blase issue, and should be done early into the pregancy (ie before cognitive function has developed).

- Gay Marriage: No sensible reason to ban it IMO. If individual churches don't wish to perform it then thats their perogative, but a nationwide ban is just stupid and bigoted.

- Health care: Needs a balance of private and socialsed solutions. A modern society needs to ensure that all people have access to it if they need it but medical advances are obviously driven by alot of private research. Thus the balance needs to be maintained.

- Gun control: Proliferation of large amounts of weapons in society only cause more harm than good IMO. I think there is no sensible reason for the average person to own a gun.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Its war. It's never going to be good. If the removal of Saddam was the objective it should have been done by a unified taskforce.

- Seperation of Church and State: Extremely important.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: It's most likely happening, and we are a big contributer.

- The UN: Needs to step up more often.

- Restrictions on curses on television: Should be up to the station to set their own policies which are vaguely sensible.

- Corporate welfare: If a company needs government subsidys to survive then its probably not something that should be run privately. Either let it die, or if that is impractical (like the post service) make it a government run service.

- Private Charity: ..why is this even a question?

- Public Welfare: An important part of a modern society. The healthier the society is the more productive it will be.

- Death Penalty: Unless one can propose a system of determining guilt that has a 100% success rate, there is no justification for it. Not to mention most of the pro arguments are fallicious.

- Embryonic Stem cell research: No problems here, especially considering how early into development the cells are harvested.

- Drugs: Policy should be done on a drug by drug basis. I can't see the logic in banning certain drugs like cannabis when alchohol and tobacco are legal, but at the same time feel some drugs would only cause more harm than good if legalized.

- Gitmo: A bloody trainwreck.

What Political Party or Affiliation? : officially none (though I'd consider myself a fiscally conservative democrat mostly)

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Christian

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: I think it's disgustingly awful, but don't feel like the government should ban it simplay because I don't know what we'd do with millions of unwanted children. But it should be done in the first trimester.

- Gay Marriage: If it makes them happy, why the hell not?

- Health care: I support a basic, public option for healthcare that is completely self sufficient financially.

- Gun control: I'm OK with hunting rifles and shotguns, but beyond that I don't think anything else is necessary.

- Illegal Immigration: I think everyone should be welcome in our country if they have a job lined up.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Been against Iraq since the beginning. Was sort of Ok with Afganistan, but I tend to be anti-war in the first place.

- Seperation of Church and State: All for it.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: Believe it's happening, but is extremely overhyped by the media.

- The UN: For it in concept. In reality it's kind of worthless.

- Restrictions on curses on television: All for it on broadcast TV. I think cable should be free to do whatever it wants.

- Corporate welfare: Very against it.

- Private Charity: Wish people would give more so the government wouldn't have to do so much for the poor.

- Public Welfare: For it to a point. I think the government has a responsibility to make sure it's citizens have their basic needs met. And by basic, I mean basic. Clothes, food, and a roof over their head.

- Death Penalty: Very, very against it.

- Stem cell research: For it as long as embryos aren't being created specifically for destruction for the research.

- Guantanamo Bay: Close the place down after trying all of the prisoners there. Even potential foreign terrorists deserve a trial.

What Political Party or Affiliation?: Moderate Democrat, except for social issues - very liberal

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Athiest

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Pro-choice

- Gay Marriage: For.  We as a society need to quit trying to find minorities we feel justified to hate and descriminate against.

- Health care: A right, not a privlege.

- Gun control: I am pro background checks and responsible ownership for hunting, but against assault weapons, people arming "militias" and such.

- Illegal Immigration: Needs reform so hard working immigrants who do the jobs we don't want (don't kid yourselfs here folks, you don't want to pick fruit) can become citizens.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Can be justified at times

- Seperation of Church and State: Church and State have gotten too cozy.  Time to pry them apart.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: Inconclusive.  I don't think its possible to prove it is completely man-caused and not a short-term glitch, and I think its dangerous to try to take 20 years worth of data and compare it the known history - the atmosphere is much richer in CO2 due to fossil fuel combustion and I think it is our responsibility to reduce CO2 output before it is DEFINATELY caused by man.

- The UN: In theory not a bad idea, in reality toothless.

- Restrictions on curses on television: It's good, and I curse a blue streak more than most people.

- Corporate welfare: Horrible.  We let individuals fail everyday.  The person not afraid of failure because he knows there are no consequences is a VERY dangerous man.

- Private Charity: People have the right to donate to what causes they see fit.

- Public Welfare: Pro, I grew up on welfare.   Ideally, it would only be for those who fall on hard times, but there are always going to be people who try to cheat a system and more money would be wasted trying to prevent waste.

- Death Penalty: Pro, if they actually used it it might be a detriment.  I'm also pro much tougher sentences and redefining "cruel and unusual" to allow judges to try more creative sentencing.

- Stem cell research: VERY PRO.  The people who are against it tend to be VERY uninformed/misinformed people when it comes to science, and should be ignored for speaking about something they understand nothing of.

- Guantanamo Bay: Torture carried out foreign soil is still torture.  I'm opposed to keeping the detention center open, but not the closing of the base.

What Political Party or Affiliation?: Registered Replublican, but don't really identify or affiliate myself with any party, including Republican.  I just feel that, unfortunately, of the 2 major parties, the Republican party at least has a potential chance of representing a fraction of my interests better than the other party.

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? :  Christian.

What is your stance on:

- Abortion:  anti-murder.

- Gay Marriage:  No such thing.

- Health care:  It is a good thing, and should be regulated but not run by government.

- Gun control:  Some control is necessary.

- Illegal Immigration:  Since it is illegal, it should be treated several, as should other illegal conduct.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general):  Anti-war in general, but I realize that war is often unavoidable and sometimes necessary.

- Seperation of Church and State:  Silly.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: Somewhat debatable whether it is in fact occurring at all in any way that is likely to significantly impact the planet.  Highl debatable that it is significantly contributed to by humankind.

- The UN:  Useless.

- Restrictions on curses on television:  Good idea, but somewhat meaningless given how liberal those restrictions are applied and how easy it is to get objectionable content aired that violates the spi;rit but not the letter of the restrictions.

- Corporate welfare:  Uh, what now?

- Private Charity:  Necessary.

- Public Welfare:  Current system is hopelessly broken.  Can perhaps be a good idea in principle, but the implementation of it has been just horrible.

- Death Penalty:  Sadly, necessary.

- Stem cell research:  Undecided.

- Guantanamo Bay:  It's over there.  *points south and east*

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : None.

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Pro-choice.

- Gay Marriage: ;)

- Health care: It has its ups and downs...

- Gun control: I'ma a straight G yo!

- Illegal Immigration: YOU'RE AN IMMIGRANT! (if you live in the U.S.)

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Bruce Springsteen.

- Seperation of Church and State: Good.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: Gore is fat and annoying.

- The UN: Hi.

- Restrictions on curses on television: Fucking stupid.

- Corporate welfare: McDonald's

- Private Charity: Church.

- Public Welfare: Black people.

- Death Penalty: If you hax Um009 I hax your life.

- Stem cell research: Superman likes it, so it must be good.

- Guantanamo Bay: Not much of an issue anymore?

What Political Party or Affiliation? : In heart I'm a Libertarian, but here it doesn't exist. I guess I'm going to establish it when I'm older. Although I would be a Rafael Nuņez Liberal (essentially, he was a Libertarian).

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Roman Catholic

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Murder. Totally against it.

- Gay Marriage: Personally, I'm against it. However, if people of the same sex want to live together it's not my problem. Don't call it marriage, though.

- Health care: Should be private.

- Gun control: People should be able to defend themselves when there's not a cop around. You should be able to protect your property.

- Illegal Immigration: Illegal? Since when you are better than anyone. Wanna come here? Go ahead, but don't expect nothing from me; earn it.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Bullshit/Justifiable but it's taking you guys too much time/only when is in self defence.

- Seperation of Church and State: Let the government do what it has to do. Let the church handle what it should handle. Separate them.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: It's happening. I don't know really how much it is our fault.

- The UN: A stupid round two of The League of Nations. It shouldn't exist.

- Restrictions on curses on television: Personally, not all TV shows need a curse. Let parents decide what their children should watch.

- Corporate welfare: Never.

- Private Charity: If you lower taxes there will be more private charity which is great.

- Public Welfare: One of the main reasons there's so much poverty.

- Death Penalty: Murder. You don't have the authority to take someone's life.

- Stem cell research: If it's not funded by the government and it doesn't kill embryo's, completely in favour.

- Guantanamo Bay: Close it down. Give it back to Cuba.

What Political Party or Affiliation? :  Registered as a Democrat, primarily for purposes of voting in primaries.  I don't much care for them, but until the rampant anti-intellectualism goes out of fashion in the GOP, I guess this is where I'll stay registered.  As far as my actual leaning, every compass I've ever taken has com up "Libertarian Left."

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? :  None.  I'm philosphically cool with some degree of spirituality, but neither organized religion nor atheism do it for me.  (translation, I'm agnostic)

What is your stance on:

- Abortion:  Pro-choice, but feel that it should be left to the states.

- Gay Marriage:  Pro.  The state has no business arbitrarily saying who can & can't enter into such a contract.  Really, "marriage" should be the domain of the church, and "civil unions" should be the domain of the state.  The church can decide who they do and don;t want to marry, but the state should allow and two consenting individuals of majority age to enter into a civil union.

- Health care:  Remove barriers to carriers boperating across stae lines, tighten up the regulations regarding pre-existing conditions.  Maybe provide tax incentives for carrying health insurance.

- Gun control:  Moderate.  I'm absolutely pro-gun when it comes to hunting & sport.  I'm of mixed feelings when it comes to personal protection...it is much more likely that the gun will be used in a crime, a suicide, murder, accidental discharge, or taken from the homeowner by the crinimal that it is to be used against a would-be assailant.  Absolutely against people having assault weapons and cop-killer bullets.

- Illegal Immigration:  needs reform.  the agriculture industry would collapse if we just threw them all out.  Instead, target the people who are employing undocumented workers, so there's less incentive to come here.  Also, maybe create a work permit of some sort, after all, as was said upthread, most people don't want to pick fruit.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general):  Only when there is an immediate, tangible threat to either ourselves or our close allies.  Afghanistam, ok (albeit purely executed.  Iraq...no.

- Seperation of Church and State:  Should be more.

- Climate Change/Global Warming:  I feel that we are affecting the climate.  You simply can't keep pumping energy into an essentially closed system and expect that there will be no perturbation.  There may well be a natural process at work as well, but we are exacerbating it.  And I don't want to hear any of this bullshit about "how could something so insignifiacant as the activities of man harm the planet"...that's what people said to justify dumping all sorts of pollutaants into our lakes, rivers and oceans...and that didn't work out so well.

- The UN:  Kind of like student council...useless, but it makes people feel like they're accomplishing something.

- Restrictions on curses on television:  Silly.  Honestly, let the market sort this one out.  Don't like a channel that has vulgarities on it?  Don;t watch it.

- Corporate welfare:  It makes me feel dirty, but i think it's occasionally necessary.  Had there not been a bank bailout, everyone would have gone done with the ship due to credit becoming completely unavailable.  The automakers are a different matter...that shouldn't have been done.

- Private Charity:  Hooray.

- Public Welfare:  there should be a cushion for people who lose there jobs, but not a comfortable one...and not one that incentivizes staying there.

- Death Penalty:  Against.  What's going on in TX right now should be all of the evidence against it anyone needs.  besides, I've never wanted to see someone fry without realizing that I was rooting for vengeance rather than reform/justice.

- Stem cell research:  pro.

- Guantanamo Bay:  Close it.  Do trials where there's sufficient evidence to proceed, otherwise release them.  And I mean real trials...none of this "secret evidence that we can't present in court or even tell the defense about" bullshit.  The existence of the Gitmo prison and the secret tribunals there spit in the eye of the founding fathers, and makes hypocrites of us all.

What Political Party or Affiliation? : Registered Democrat, but my ideals are closer to Socialist

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Judaism

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: I am a male, and thus have no right to tell a woman what she can do with her body. Pro Choice

- Gay Marriage: For it. I can't see why the GLBT community shouldn't be able to enjoy the same happiness as straight people

- Health care: I'm all for giving health care to everybody. I feel like it's something that should be guaranteed to citizens

- Gun control: Take away the guns. For God's sake, nobody even needs to hunt anymore, so I don't even see why it's necessary in that case

- Illegal Immigration: Technically speaking, most of our ancestors were "illegal" immigrants. That aside, I do think the process for citizenship should be a lot easier

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): War is unnecessary. I do not approve of any of the wars fought in the past 10 years, and although I like Obama, the one thing I can't reconcile is his imminent decision to add more troops to the 'War in Afghanistan'

- Seperation of Church and State: Please separate it. If you don't, I'll never be able to become president...

- Climate Change/Global Warming: It exists, definitely.

- The UN: Is ineffectual and hindering, and has no real power. Get rid of it

- Restrictions on curses on television: If you don't want your kids to see bad things on TV, turn off the goddamn TV

- Corporate welfare: I'm unsure. On the one hand, I think that some of the banks needed saving, but on the other, the amount with which we saved them was too much

- Private Charity: It's cool, I guess

- Public Welfare: It's fine for a limited time, to help people get back on their feet. But people who are dependent on the system really should stop receiving these 'benefits'

- Death Penalty: There are certain crimes where I think it's morally okay to kill someone, but more often than not, these criminals stay on death row for years and years and years anyway, so life imprisonment without the possibility for parole would be just as good

- Stem cell research: For it. Scientific progress should never be hindered. Otherwise we'll turn into Medieval Europe

- Guantanamo Bay: I'm glad it's shut down. It served no real purpose

What Political Party or Affiliation?: None/Crazy Left

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Raised Jewish, now Atheist

 What is your stance on:

- Abortion: While I hate the idea of abortion being used for dumb, horny girls' birth control, I don't feel the government has the right to tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body

 - Gay Marriage: They have the right to get married just like everyone else. The fact that the religious right is against this, and winning, is a sad reflection on our Christian based society

Health care: Universal. There is something wrong with society when being healthy and cared for is a privilege and not a right.

- Gun control: Heavy control is needed. Personally, I wouldn't allow guns for any purpose other than hunting for food. It's impossible to do, but like I said, it's what I would like.

- Illegal Immigration: Generally against it. I understand they are taking jobs many Americans don't want, but you can immigrate legally. I don't really care all that much.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Complete anti war. In all cases. All of them.

- Seperation of Church and State: Needed, too bad our Christian society screwed the pooch on this one. In God we Trust on our bills, One Nation Under God, all the anti-atheist laws, pathetic.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: We are a catalyst of a natural occuring event in the universe. At this stage in the game, the universe is likely to heat up. However, we are not helping by sending all the crap we are into the atmosphere.

- The UN: Great idea, but the execution of it leaves something to be desired

- Restrictions on curses on television: Let them curse. There are ratings and blocks on TV for a reason.

- Corporate welfare: No.

- Private Charity: Let there be donations.

- Public Welfare: A complete and utter necessity, but it needs to be reformed to stop giving to those abusing the system.

- Death Penalty: Absolutely awful. Hey guys, I have a good idea, let's kill people because they killed people because killing people is wrong...cool! Also, the amount of money it takes to kill a person after all the appeals is insane.

- Stem cell research: All for it

- Guantanamo Bay: Not good.

What Political Party or Affiliation? : I don't know :( I looked up a quiz to give me some idea, and they said I should vote SNP (Scottish National Party). I'm Welsh by the way.

What religion (or lack thereof) are you affiliated with? : Agnostic.

What is your stance on:

- Abortion: Pro-Choice

- Gay Marriage: No problem with Civil Partnerships. The institution of marriage is outdated anyway.

- Health care: I'm from the UK, so free healthcare beats all, even if we do have waiting lists longer than the average life expectancy.

- Gun control: UK laws on guns suit me fine. Note the number of gun related deaths in the UK compared to the US.

- Illegal Immigration: Is illegal. Legal Immigration should be moderated but never banned, the majority of Western Civilisations stem from immigration.

- War (Iraq/Afghanistan/War in general): Anti War. Iraq/Afghanistan is a complete farce.

- Seperation of Church and State: For.

- Climate Change/Global Warming: We have no control over this.

- The UN: A great 'idea'.

- Restrictions on curses on television: That's what the watershed is for.

- Corporate welfare: Not enough information to form an opinion.

- Private Charity: Not enough information to form an opinion.

- Public Welfare: Not enough information to form an opinion.

- Death Penalty: Against.

- Stem cell research: For.

- Guantanamo Bay: Well I'm anti-torture so...
