DTF community appreciation thread
« on: April 27, 2009, 09:37:52 AM »
This time without a forum and a home to visit frequently, I came to realize what an amazing community we are. These years have been incredible and now, cheers for the ones to come. Thanks Jen and bosk (and all of those involved) for all the hard job in restoring DTF and the amazing new look.

I'd hug you all but it's forbidden due to the swine flu epidemy in Mexico :tard

Yes, for the 10th time a sincere thank you to everyone involved!

The interwebs would not have been the same without this place. This has been a community I've been a part of for 5 or 6 years now and hope to put in many more.

Yeah, thanks for the forum and friendships.

Remember that time I first signed up at DT.net and no one liked me 'cause I just started talking to people without introducing myself? Good times.

Definitely agree on the bolded part. Coming from German speaking message boards where the rules are quite a bit stricter, I like the fact that it's a bit more loose, relatively speaking. But the regime is still strict enough to not derail from any seriousness, and that's what makes this forum so good imo.

I've posted this several times but still I'm glad this place is back. I registered over at 5/8 thinking I would like it more than here (immaturity is fun ) but I really didn't. Everyone over here has always been so welcoming and supportive, and the community here is fantastic.

I echo DL's opening post. This DTF community has been together since the official board went down and then through a couple of splits. We can't be killed.

Thanks to Bosk and whoever else is responsible. A place I look forward to each day.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Last week really sucked without my DTF fix. It got so bad for me that I started making JP bear jokes at school, and people would look at me like, WTF? You never know how good something is until it's gone.

I missed this place.  There are other boards I frequent, including one named for one of my favorite time signatures, but this place provided the balance by having the highest signal-to-noise ratio, which I didn't really realize until it wasn't there.  Without DTF, I was all out of balance.  Seriously.  Like, I was bumping into walls and shit.  It was annoying.

How did I miss the relaunch??? Glad we're back! Thanks everyone for fixing all this!  Though the time off did help me remember how much I liked the 5/8 community too.

Everyday, I went to my Favorites and clicked on DTFForums and let out a profanity.  I missed this site and thank for the time everybody put in to get it going again.. But, next time get Al Gore involved.  He created the Internet you know!
