Nice idea, this is gonna be tricky... and probably some bands that don't exactly fit in here...

1) Dream Theater - Learning to Live/A Change of Seasons/In the Presence of Enemies

2) Porcupine Tree - Trains/Russia On Ice/Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape/Anaesthetize (whoops)

3) dredg - Sang Real/Jamais Vu/Gathering Pebbles

4) Pink Floyd - Echoes/Dogs/Shine On You Crazy Diamond

5) Muse - Hyper Chondriac Music/Citizen Erased/Muscle Museum

6) Radiohead -2+2=5/Where I End You Begin/Lucky

7) Sigur Ros - Untitled #7/Untitled #8/Vidrar Vel til Loftrasa

8) Symphony X - The Serpent's Kiss/Paradise Lost/Inferno (Unlease the Fire)

9) Tool - Lateralus/The Pot/Vicarious

10) Blackfield - Pain/Epidemic/Once

Don't think I could have narrowed it all down to just one song each.
Every story needs to have an ending, we might as well give up all this pretending and clear the air...

Rush - Xanadu
Dream Theater - Octavarium
Ayreon - Across the Rainbow Bridge
Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewhere... But Not Here
Shadow Gallery - The Archer of Ben Salem
Iron Maiden - Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Transatlantic - Duel With the Devil
Riverside - Conceiving You
Redemption - Sapphire
Marillion - White Russian

Marillion is in counting it as "Fish-era", and the two before it could be swapped with a myriad of bands I love very much. The first 7 however are pretty well locked.

This is hard cause I can never pick a "best" song by my favorite bands really. It moves around a lot.

Aphex Twin- Xtal/Rhubarb
Dream Theater- A Change of Seasons/Octavarium/Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence
Eric Johnson- When The Sun Meets the Sky
Incubus- Aqueous Transmission
Joe Satriani- Time
Meshuggah- In Death- Is Death
Nick Drake- Pink Moon
Pink Floyd- Dogs/Atom Heart Mother
Primus- Hamburger Train
Rush- Natural Science
Tool- Lateralus

I can count. :p
We are a way for the universe to know itself.

My ten favorite bands/artists have changed, so let's try this again:

Pain of Salvation - Used
The Mars Volta - Cassandra Gemini
Tool - Lateralus
65daysofstatic - Install A Beak In The Heart That Clucks Time In Arabic
Jeff Buckley - Lover, You Should've Come Over
Thrice - Daedalus
Immortal Technique - Dance With The Devil
The Dear Hunter - City Escape or Life And Death
Dream Theater - Scarred
Faith No More - Zombie Eaters

I have a feeling some artists I'm just beginning to get into, such as Bjork, Kayo Dot and Sigur Ros will force their way into my top 10 in the coming months.

And thats why I don't post in French very much. I'm much better at reading and understanding French than I am writing and speaking it.

Anyway, back on subject...music is good.
