Cool. That new song sounds quite a bit different than their other stuff, but it's still good.

Easily my favorite band.

I might get this just for the DVD. Since I live where most bands I want to see never go, It'll be cool to see 02 Panic Room

Riverside's new single "Egoist Hedonist" can be heard on their myspace site https://www.myspace.com/riversidepl
I was a huge fan of Rapid Eye Movement and it sounds like they stepped up on the production on the new album. Really looking forward to this... Second time listening and its already growing on me

This is from https://www.annodominihighdefinition.com/blog.php?lang=en

From today (ta-daaaaaa!!!), first sounds from the new album are available on our myspace site.

Enjoy!

By the way, Egoist Hedonist, the album version, has 8:57 and three parts:
I. different?
II. hedonist party
III. straw man dance

Radio edit containts first two.

Woah, the new song is pretty different from what they're usually doing. Nice to hear they're not stagnating on their old atmospheric style.

Anybody remember the site where there was a free concert streaming?

That site was shut down. I think you can look up the show on p2p, though. Don't know if it counts as a bootleg or it has some copyright shit attached to it, after all it was free for streaming.

Well people on this bored just like to evaluate things like in anything in life. And what else could you compare a band than another one. It's just a way of evaluating it.

The album is definetaly different, got a 1970's vibe and some really heavy agressive guitar parts.

I just got a hold of some Riverside after listening to the songs on their MySpace, and these guys are amazing. I think Rapid Eye Movement is my favorite so far. Looks like I'm going to be spending a good bit of money on 23 June...
—No, continued Aunt Kate, she wouldn't be said or led by anyone, slaving there in that choir night and day, night and day. Six o'clock on Christmas morning! And all for what?
—Well, isn't it for the honour of God, Aunt Kate? asked Mary Jane, twisting round on the piano-stool and smiling.
Aunt Kate turned fiercely on her niece and said:
—I know all about the honour of God, Mary Jane

yeahe i bought Second Life Syndrome and Rapid Eye Movement.  I think REM is my favorite simply because i love every track on it. After listening to the new song i think the ADHD could be the best album.

Which one did you get?

I like Second Life Syndrome a lot, really gloomy but beautiful album. Rapid Eye Movement was an improvement in terms of production, but the music was a lot less interesting I thought. However, the new album is meant to be excellent, so I'm going to check it out when I can!

Out of Myself is decent but not very exciting, and the Voices in My Head EP is quite cool but doesn't really go anywhere.

Rapid Eye Movement is the only one I have. Really cool stuff, I will probably pick up their new one when it comes out. And get Second Life Syndrome also.

Their definetly progressive, but not very heavy. They remind me of Pink Floyd a lot.

New album is pretty cool. Although I can't say I've listened to it enough to have a solid opinion on how it ranks with the rest, it's still a great album.

Still haven't listened to the new album. REM was a disappointment for me, I don't find it really memorable. I can't think of any tune/melody/lyrics atm, while I can do that for the other 2 albums I have. SLS is pure awesome, OoM is pretty damn good as well. Will listen to the new album sometime soon, as I really like this band.

I like Riverside.

They have such an understated sound... whenever I listen to them on headphones, it really is like hearing music through some kind of wakeful dream.

Wow, I was just about to create a thread about them :P awesome band, the first one that managed to remind me that there are also other bands than DT ;) (after like a year of DT-ism) I love the way they're progressing and trying new things with each album. Though they're good at ballads and calm songs, my favourites are the songs where they can combine atmosphere with heavier playing - they're really great in that. Just listen to Ultimate Trip, Beyond the Eyelids or Hybrid Times. (Though still... for some reason Second Life Syndrome holds the title of my favourite Riverside song ever.)

It seems that here I'm also in the minority :( - my favourite album is Rapid Eye Movement. The most mature, the most atmospheric, the most varied, the best-written. Atm I still feel I haven't listened to the new album enough (I know, if 10 listens is not enough, then I'm probably a bit weird), but I can say it's at least equally good.

Although I love all three albums, Second Life Syndrome stands out as their masterpiece. I can not wait for the new album!

Them, Redemption, OSI, and Transatlantic are the bands for me, that have really taken hold in the last decade.
