I hope he does some kind of solo project next, Chroma Key or whatever. Kevin Moore music always strikes a huge chord with me.

I'm hoping KevMo hooks up with Jim Matheos again to do the next Fates Warning album.

Yeah, honestly, I much prefer KM's OSI work over anything he's done with FW.  Admittedly, I don't really like FW that much but hey.

Man this album is so great. Came out of nowhere into OSI and this is what I got. Every song is great, and I love the bonus songs. Easily my favorite this year, can't wait for Nick's album of the year thing.

Super bump.

Just got around to listening to this, and I'm blown away.  It's REALLY good; I like it at least as much as both of the previous two albums, possibly more.

I definitely liked it more.  I feel like each album makes itself "relevant" to that year's "sound," like how most bands try to keep up with the times, but OSI actually pulls it off.

Love the fast paced song (The Escape Artist, False Start) more than the others, but iverall fantastic disk.

You won't even get the point of the EP unless you pick up Free, as the EP is just three remixes from that album.  And personally I like the album versions a lot more.

Although I wikied it beforehand, I agree with the original album being a better choice. Thanks guys.

Indeed. I absolutely love it. I have yet to find anything similar. It's just so dark, ambient but catchy with good progression

Also, It reminds me of Perfect Dark on the N64 and that's an instant win  :hat

I saw FW live with DT back in 03 and they were ok. I just checked them out last year and was disappointed big time.

Easily the best song on the album, as I previously mentioned :metal

Yes, it is.  In fact, that song could be Exhibit A of why I love Kevin Moore's understated and textural playing so much.  :hat

Other than the new album (FW) you may release, what else should the fans expect in the near future regarding FW or you specifically?
- As I already mentioned, there will probably be a new FW album this or sometime next year. Same with OSI - expect the new album most likely early next year.

Do you plan on having any live OSI shows?
- No, I don't. I think that it will remain a studio band.

What's the situation with the drummer position in OSI? Do you plan on keeping Gavin Harrison from Porcupine Tree or Mike Portnoy will return in the band?

- We just started talking about the new album. I'm almost sure that the drummer will once again be Gavin because we're very happy with our work together on Blood. We still haven't made any of this official but I really believe that it will be him.

From an interview with JM I just read. It's in Bulgarian, that's the most interesting part about OSI. There may be a live FW CD or even DVD from some of their shows in the US. If you're interested in the other questions which are a bit more general/generic I will translate it for you.

Before I overreact, I just want to make sure I read the context clues in that snippet correctly.  Jim's saying we should expect a fourth OSI album in early 2011?

Fuck it, I'll just overreact anyway.

Yup, that's what he's saying. We should expect OSI 4 sometime early next year. The next FW album will be in 2011 too and the line up will be JM, Ray, Frank Aresti, Joey Vera and Bobby Jarzombek.
