I love the last song "Right Where It Belongs". It's so haunting to me.
Hire me. I'm talentless but malleable.

The crowd noise gave me chills the first couple times I heard it.

Listening to NiN for the first time ever. The Fragile has been so good so far. I could honestly see it becoming one of my favorite albums, just from this first impression.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. G. Sertillanges

The Fragile is so good! Lots of quality material throughout the NIN catalog so dig right in if you feel the urge.

TDN is better, even though The Fragile is awesome.

TheFragile is an amazing album. Every time I hear it I get into a trance.

I just picked up Ghosts I-IV and The Slip recently. Ghosts is great. Slip is alright. Ghosts reminds me of The Social Network soundtrack, but that's the point. It was made by Trent and Atticus.

Wow, I didn't know that. I need to listen to TSN soundtrack again.
Do you know if they reworked anything for TGWTDT soundtrack?

Bump because I've really been getting into this band over the last weeks (months probably).
So far I only know The Fragile, The Downward Spiral and With Teeth, but I love them all, and I am planning on checking the rest out, I just love taking it slowly so that I can appreciate everything.
I would probably rank the albums in the order I mentioned them, The Fragile is my favorite and it's hard for me to pick a favorite disc on it since both are so good. I don't get the hate for Disc 2 at all, it has "Into the Void", "Where is Everybody?" and "Please" (one of my favorites) just to name three really good songs, and I think the rest is fantastic as well. The Downward Spiral and With Teeth are pretty close right now. The first is such a journey and I love it, the latter is more of a "catchy, more straightforward songs" which is fine as well. "The Hand That Feeds" and "Every Day is Exactly the Same" are two of my favorite NiN songs so far.

So to keep it short: awesome band.  :metal

Fraggle Rock instantly became my favourite from the start. i got into them through "Hurt" and "We're in This Together" music videos, and right from the start of "Somewhat Damaged" it was obvious i had gotten onto something untouchable.

hoping the big, lovely boxset reissue of it comes out soon.

Agreed - I didn't get to see any of the NIN/JA shows or any of the last shows because I found out about the tours too late. :'(

Saw NIN twice during the [With_Teeth] tour though, but that was 2005/2006...

The Fragile really needs it's reissue already, it's been fracking ages.

I would kill to see them live too.

Really good record. Mariqueen's vocals fit perfectly, and Trent hasn't lost his touch either vocally or musically.

Anyone see the video for the single? Pretty damn creepy and the music was good too.

I'm tentatively looking forward to this.

I can't believe that the last time I saw NIN on tour was in 2008.  That was some of the most amazing stage production I've ever seen for a concert.  I wouldn't mind having another go at the band, especially now that Belew is in the touring lineup.
