The past couple of times I went out to buy CD's, the stores I've gone to only carried The Link, The Link Alive and The Way of All Flesh.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

Sell some guy a blowjob for $20. For From Mars to Sirus it's worth it.

If I was going to see Metallica a month earlier, I would have seen these guys, but now I am seeing Volbeat(WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)
Isn't there a Pokemon named Volbeat? From third generation, the "twin" to Illumise.

I just recently got into these guys.

And I found out they're playing in.. the venue where I work as a bartender. That's pretty awesome, and it's practically in my backyard. I sure as hell know I'm not going to work that night, but I'll be there as a headbanging visitor.

Saw these guys live when they opened for In Flames, was it 2 years ago?
Pretty great, and very interesting seeing as their music is something completely else compared to the other bands performing that night, In Flames included.

Just got back from Gojira!

I wasn't that excited since I'm not familiar with their albums except The Way of All Flesh.

Turned out they were tight as hell, and basically blew the roof off the place for the entire gig. That's also what bothers me about them, in the end not offering enough variation. That said, great freakin' gig, people were going nuts and they're just totally together in their playing and show, there's definately charisma in their brand of metal.

NECRO'D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, it just clicked how awesome From Mars to Sirius is. The riffs make me want to kill something which is interesting because they are only one step down from standard tuning and Gojira is like 5 or 6 and these riffs are just better. So, Ocean Planet, Backbone, Where Dragons Dwell, The Heaviest Matter of the Univese. All sick songs. I need to listen to this a few more times to get into the rest but where to go after this. I need to get shit on in at least one post per thread, so here it goes:

I can't listen to Terria Ingonita because the vox are buried to deep in the mix, so that is out but I was wondering if I should listen to The Link or The Way of All Flesh or one of the EPs?

Even though I hate you so much for not giving Terra Incognita enough of a chance, I still have to suggest you fucking get The Link. It has Death of Me, which is my all time favourite Gojira song. The Way of All Flesh, if you ask me, is just pretty good. I found it to be a bit weaker of an album.

Yah get The Link BUT be aware that there are 2 versions. There's the original which has a very muddy mix and if you don't like TI then you probably won't like this either, but there's also the re-released version which has a much cleaner sound. Get that one.
