Untitled is a pretty cool song.
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

Out of the three albums I've heard it's my favorite so far.
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?

I've only heard Bucketheadland 2, Crime Slunk Scene, and Pepper's Ghost. Pepper's Ghost was my favorite but my favorite song was Soothsayer.

Man, Buckethead is awesome.

Give me your album ranking and I'll start from the top.

Also, Albino Slug kicks so much ass.

>Album ranking
>Buckethead

Does not compute. He's one of those artists that has too much diverse material to rank.

Tale a look at this though:
It really depends on what you are looking for, honestly.

If you want a bit more straight forward, guitar solo wizardy filled with some really groovy moments - Population Override. It's like 10 long guitar solos/jam sessions. It's fantastic.
If you want something a bit more...mind-fuck oriented - Bucketheadland 2, Inbred Mountain or Kaleidoscalp
If you want something a tad electronic/beat oriented - Monsters and Robots (well this fits under the next category as well), Bermuda Triangle or Funnel Weaver
If you want some just really cool sounding guitar music with lots of really heavy moments - Albino Slug, The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock, Decoding the Tomb of the Banshee Bot, Island of Lost Minds or Crime Slunk Scene.
If you want something really, really chill and easy to relax to - Colma or Electric Tears.  :hat :hat :hat :hat :hat
If you want something like you've never heard - Spinal Clock. It's banjo music. I don't even know if I like this album or not.
And if you want something that samples a lot of Buckethead's different styles - Giant Robot.

Don't even get me started with his side projects like The Deli Creeps or Praxis. And pay no attention to Enter the Chicken. It's really not that good of an album. Aside from 3 songs, its' generally just meh for Buckethead.

Also his newest album (titled Happy Holidays from Buckethead) is worth checking out as well. And as an addition to that list, if you are looking for some extremely HEAVY Buckethead, Cuckoo Clocks From Hell is the direction you need to go.

Inbred Mountain is probably the next logical step for you, zkshalkflheojhlogksjrylhojirsyhokrsjso.

Glaurung, if you haven't heard the softer albums yet, hit Colma and Electric Tears.

So, for my new years resolution I'm going to be writing full reviews for every single one of Buckethead's solo albums. It comes out to a total of 47 albums when you include all 13 discs of In Search of The and the three non-canonical demo albums. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully some of you guys will follow it.

Just finished Pepper's Ghost. I liked that he let loose with the shred a little more in the second half of the album without letting it take over and change the overall vibe of the album. Heading straight into Population Override now :metal

So as I'm listening to more Buckethead (which is all I've listened to for the last week or so), I'm beginning to decide which are my favorite albums.

Albino Slug and the newest Untitled album are both incredible and they are the best of the straight forward rock/metal albums.
Colma and A Real Diamond in the Rough are my favorite chill albums. :hat :hat
Population Override has my favorite Buckethead guitar solos on it (other than Soothsayer :tup)
Bucketheadland 2 is the best "weird as shit" album.

In conclusion HOLY SHIT BUCKETHEAD IS AWESOME.

Listened through Captain EO's voyage. Such great rock ambiance. It must be listened to as an entire album. Pure genius.
