Playing Plain Planes
« on: February 12, 2020, 09:18:02 PM »
Instrumental that builds through several planes of sonic ingenuity that developed within my cerebral cortex on a recent occasion.  A happy and uplifting melody that crosses many plains as it builds, only to fall back to the basic building blocks of the original idea. A mini-progressive-symphonic sort of a a song. Perhaps I'll pen some lyrics to it someday but I like it the way it is for now!  Any and all feedback, commentary enthusiastically embraced.

Well done!  It has a nice positive vibe to it, I always enjoy your musical posts.  It's too bad that the musician's section of this forum doesn't get more frequented. I would have though DT fans especially would not be affected by A.D.D.   :lol
 Anyway, good job man!   :tup

Appreciate it Arch. I enjoy your stuff too!   Thanks again.  I got a new Tascam 24 channel, some new studio monitors and other sundries for my at home studio. I like recording with a board and not the computer and this system is pretty nice.  But this recent recording was still done on my 8 track tascam, but I do like this song quite a bit and may write some lyrics eventually but I just sort of liked the way it sounded instrumentally for now!  Thanks again@

I love Tascam recording gear. I had the 2488 and did some cool stuff on that. That's what I used to record that last instrumental that I posted here with the big wave pictures.
I sold the recorder because of tough times, but I now have the Tascam DP03SD 8 track and it's great! I do want to upgrade to the 32 track eventually.
The only thing I hate about the new recorders is that there are no cd burners built into them,  SD cards only.  I do not want to have to go to a computer to finish the product. Tascam has left me scratching my head on that one..   ???
